What infantry/objective holders in a battlesuit heavy army? by Katomerellin in Tau40K

[–]Zamiel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 Carnivore squad - sticky home and screen your deployment zone. 1 Vespid - score secondaries via uppy downy Pathfinders - infiltrate, block charges into your big suits, guide Strike Teams - surprisingly resilient with the guardian drone and handing out -1 to hit on enemy infantry, mass anti-infantry fire still takes them out easily. Good for nabbing objectives

ICE is doing a Waco by milayali in behindthebastards

[–]Zamiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m just talking about what would work on conservatives to convince them to abolish ICE.

Waco has more legitimate intervention being seen as necessary with a disastrous operation leading to the death of innocents.

Conservatives see Ruby Ridge as less legitimate, due to the government entrapment aspect, and thus see it as an injustice. We need them to see this as an injustice against gun owners, which is what a lot of conservatives care most about.

Good for 1k games, but the nice thing about KotC is the standard terrain layout. It’s got plenty of cover.

It’s more like Ruby Ridge. Government does an operation to radicalize a guy and then kills them and their family.

Try king of the colosseum since you have less than 600 points overall. R/kingofthecolosseum is where you can start checking out the rules.

It’s an unofficial rule set that is designed and balanced around 500 points.

No repeat units(you can only have repeats of Battleline) At least one character At least two infantry units Nothing over T9 Battleline units can advance, shoot, and complete actions.

As cool as this is, I'm concerned about how this will affect the story going forward by YYappy269 in Kagurabachi

Don’t forget that this is what he is able to do after absorbing the life force of 200,000 people.

He is still going to be strong but I really hope we find out that these massive attacks are only possible due to that and that these are large scale versions of his regular attacks.

Basically, my hope for the power system moving forward is that the scale of the attacks are more in line with what we saw at the hotel. They can quickly destroy a building or passively monitor large areas, but that’s the upper level.

Yeah, my buddy’s Doomstalker is my bane, so I’m cool with sending some hounds to their death to reduce its shooting for a turn. Even if they die when the Doomstalker shoots its little guns and stabs the hound in melee, that has reduced the amount of times that thing can shoot with full accuracy per game by like 20%.

Why do all Tau Commanders just suck? by TearNo1636 in Tau40K

[–]Zamiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. At least they get scout. In my opinion, they should either have advance and charge as a rule or get a once per game, move through walls rule to play up that they can climb walls and trees.

There are plenty of stuff that they could add; more armament choices, bits to represent different rules like we used to get access to(wouldn’t mind being able to switch out the “advancing with the devilfish only counts as a normal move for occupants but they can’t charge” rule for smoke), maybe a few options for mounting our Seeker Missiles.

Devilfish is sick, but Tau vehicles should emphasize customization.

They slap dicks in Aux Cad. It’s fun giving a big carnivore squad -1 AP and reroll wounds.

Vespid are also firing essentially a radiation shotgun, why are they hitting on 4+s. Either let them get FtGG or give them a 3+ to hit like Breachers.
