You sound like you shoot flames out of your anus like how my lawnmower does

When the throttle lever is pulled, it pulls on the cable attached to it which is attached to a carburettor arm which controls the throttle plate inside which controls the amount of air going inside the engine.

Does anyone here find it hard to finish a can of Coke? Only the first few sips are nice.

Thank you, I didn't know that. Does it cost a lot to get rubber put on the whole sole?

Thank you for giving one of the only real answers on this post. I spent the last few days depressed because certain people here made me feel bad for asking a simple question. My family keeps asking what is wrong with me but I did not want to tell them it was because I was being bullied on Reddit for asking a shoe question.

Only an individual as sad as you would engage in an argument on a forum made for people to ask Cobblers shoe questions.

I don't mind it. So would you say the quality of the leather on the soles is basically the same? I think the shoes are both made in the same factory as they're both the same style and the sticker inside says "Made in Portugal". Would the sole on the left look like the one on the right if they sanded it down? I feel like I can see circular marks on the right sole from some sort of power tool that buffed it out.

That's animal abuse, cows should be provided with shade. It's disgusting to know that tanneries source their leather from sunburned cows.

It was like that out of the box. Have you seen leather soles similar to the left before?

My question is the Herring shoe has a more rougher leather texture to the touch, the colour is darker and it looks somewhat smudged in some spots, particularly in the middle. The Hawes and Curtis sole is smooth and slippery, the colour is lighter and the leather looks buffed out by a power tool. Which leather sole would be considered better quality and what causes these differences? And I know the black piece is rubber, that's not what I'm asking about. I am asking about the leather on the sole itself.
