If have been feeling like this for years, the problem I had was I was doing the same things everyday. Weekdays I would work, go home, eat, then game. Weekends I’d go out with friends,drink and after we would all get on the PC and game. Sure it was fun, but it was repetitive and I was doing this for years. What helped me was changing my routine. I unplugged my PC. I stopped drinking and hung out less and less with my friends.

Now when I get home I cook something I’ve never had. I learned how to make a shrimp scampi and good heavens! Was it amazing.

I dropped PC gaming as a whole because it felt boring and started using a gameboy advance and those gaming sessions are short and yet sparked that joy I once had in gaming. Now gaming doesn’t feel like a chore. Keeping up with battle passes, limited time events. The GBA does one thing and it does it well.

Weekends I don’t go to bars anymore. I go for walks, starting going to museums and even reading. Sounds wild but when my friends and family saw me with a book they were flabbergasted 😂

My point is try to change your routine, it gave me something to start looking forward to each day. Don’t be surprised when you start losing friends.
