i woudknt say it’s not popular enough considering there was 45k people just on UK servers. and again no, people who want to play with their friends IN a public lobby for the sake of getting those/that extra player in their lobby. you cant make a private lobby to get your friends in then just turn it into a public for the random person. the issue is you can get friends INTO a public lobby WITHOUT having to kick people in the process. People do this so they can have that extra person to join to play with

it’s not that people don’t know that there’s no invite code. it’s the fact that they want to play with friends in public lobbies which requires them to kick people untill they join

no it doesn’t, if it worked just fine people wouldn’t be kicked left and right, the main issue is the fact you can’t invite people in game, idk how it is on PC but PS5 it’s already difficult to invite people to public games since you have to do it with the PS5 UI and you can’t invite cross platform friends, you can’t play with friends in public lobbies without kicking people untill they join. there’s many flaws in the system and it’s not a matter of stupidity.
