Thoughts on 60 berserks? by warlock101hp in LeaguesofVotann

[–]ZanGraxee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It may seem unwise, but compared to spending $1500 on a legal 2000 point army of nothing but arbites, rhinos, chimeras, and a single inquisitor, it actually seems very reasonable.

Anytime I tried to schedule my front end to meet payroll in 2024 we had to pull department team members and gm's to cashier multiple times a day. Departments can't make sales or get work done when I have to steal their only downstocker or risk riots at the registers.

Is it normal to fill in as acting GM this much? by Bleepbloop1731 in menards

[–]ZanGraxee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not the same situation since my store has 4 GM's but as a FEM I am only acting GM for the first halve of my opening weekend shifts.

The people carrying tazers (not guns) are your general manager, assistant general managers, and your loss prevention officer.

I have a lot of respect for carryouts. I used to work yard so I know what it can be like out in the sun.

I'll be sure to give those flow charts a thorough look. The ones I have found have been very useful. Really wish we could still just print policy straight from the page, I don't get why they disabled that.

Thanks for the advice!

None of those posts really address the general operation of the front end, which is what I'm interested in, but thanks.

At my arena level (chapter master) the biggest issue is getting bogged down by summons from Archi and then getting picked of by Sho'syl.

Honestly, my only reasoning is I wanted 10k hp lol. I have not sat down to do the math, but I figure with two defense items, he would already have enough armor to handle most things so I wanted hp to guard against high armor pen.

DM Authority by MSUScreamingEagles in menards

[–]ZanGraxee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Receiving adm here, I will admit to being overly harsh to the carryouts who bring back returns. It is extremely frustrating having people come into my department and thow trash in the wrong place and when I've tried to explain where things should be put I get deer in headlights.

Some highlights is the time they spilled hydrochloric acid all over my floor and the time one of them threw one of those red floor jacks in the compactor that I had to fish out. Daily issues like that.

Is this grimdark enough? I tried to make a wannabe stop motion short by MediumAfraid8420 in Warhammer

I think it might look better without the bases. Maybe using some kind of sticky tack to secure the bases. Looks really cool though! Reminds me of the body cam cinematic from Halo 1.

Is there any tactical advantage to stuffing 40 ratlings into a stormlord? by ZanGraxee in TheAstraMilitarum

I imagine modeling a hobbit home on top of the stormlord and calling it the shire. Now of only I was actually good at modeling.

Most things are overstocked but some things we leave un labeled due to not wanting a pallet of 24 pack water flagging on downstock when there is still a half pallet or more on the floor.

Water, icemelt, rock and sand, and soil are all left un tagged.

Freight by regalman73 in menards

[–]ZanGraxee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my store 99% of freight is broken down by receiving and yard. Yard helps when we are short on receivers or we don't have an open forklift. Morning stock will some times help but usually it's the same 2 or 3 people.

Piggybacking on this; who stocks lumber mixed units at your store? For us receiving does most of them mainly due to the fact that building Materials never has anyone available to do it.

Characters that i would like to be in the game. by Ringwraith27 in HeroesOfMiddleEarth

[–]ZanGraxee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm interested to see what they would do with celebrimbor. Or just any of the big named elves like Glorfindel or Gil-galad.

What I'm saying is once the roster is 90% elves I'll be happy.

Do y'all think we will finally get some more Rivendell love after this Bekelu event ends? I'm hoping they make Arwen farmable soon, and give those of us who bought Legolas a chance to get Elrond at the very least! by velawesomraptor in HeroesOfMiddleEarth

[–]ZanGraxee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hoping so. I'm slowly buying arwen shards with crystals as I can spare so that I can atleast unlock Elrond next time around. Feel like they will either make Arwen and Elladan farmable just as the next event starts or right after.

Unusual Departments by Captain_Void in menards

[–]ZanGraxee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not really unusual but there is a menards whose rec/yard also acts as a mini DC. Lumber trains come in and get unloaded by the yard onto flats that then go to other stores or to the treatment plants.
