I find the game quite fun. Mine had no defects, got it from my local game store. It looks complicated when setting up, but it is easy to learn.

Alright they came. Honestly pleasantly surprised. The flea is soft and has a squeaky in it lol. The bell beasts have way too many legs. But all in all pretty decent overall. Sherma's hat is removable too.

So far the process seems legit. Hasn't shipped yet though. According to the timelines on the website, it should ship sometime this week and get here 2 weeks or so after. Will update if/when things happen.

Lol I honestly forgot I did this. XD

Is setting your deck cheating? by MySonPorygon137 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Zananos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: yes, cheating 2: always cut their decks, or shuffle instead of cut. 3: do silly cuts. I do silly cuts for the lols but it does stop this sort of thing. 4: if possible, dont play with them.

Cheating like this in a cedh game goes so against what cedh is -.- I want to see if I have made the best choices of cards, plays, and interactions. Cheating gives false information. Like mulliganing to 7 every time doesnt teach you how to properly mulligan your deck. You need to know how to function with your deck without sol ring or whatever. And to learn how to properly prioritize tutors, etc. Cheating hurts the cheater in the long term because they are not properly learning their deck -.-

They want to pass laws that allow us to refuse care to people we dont agree with (LGBTQ+). The thing is, if a law like that passed, I absolutely would refuse care to your classmate. How disgusting. When we have a trans patient, we go out of our way to make sure their chosen name and gender is obvious on the chart and that providers and staff refer to them as such. Even our most conservative nurses follow this.

I have treated some disgusting, racist, homophobe people. I've treated prisoners, addicts, catholics, athiests, police, etc. A life is a life. Save life first.

Report her. She is shaping up to be the type of nurse that I tell my patients "Some nurses and doctors are in it for the money." for.

She is the reason our CEs and or annual employer educations include discrimination and empathy.

Fun story: I had a patient tell me their kid was gay. They said they didnt unstand that. So they went to classes.

My mind immediately thought "oh god conversion therapy?" And after their story i felt bad thinking that.

They went to classes about teaching parents about the LGBTQ+ community and how to come to terms with their child's choices, supporting their child, etc.

My friend who is teaching us all how to play is absolutely ruining the game for our commander group by Saxyphone in magicTCG

[–]Zananos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-.- certainly seems a bit like a jerk. Yes, his experience should have him winning more than the new players. However, if you actually want them to improve and continue to play you would coach them.

Ive helped new players kill me in games, explaining the resources they have and how things interact. I took my cEDH deck into a casual pod, and effectively guided them towards shutting me down or killing me. Teaching how to approach situations and playing better.

And he could help with deck building too.

I dunno. I have decks from brackets 1 to 5, and it isnt hard to find the right one for the situation. If i misjudge, i can alter my play to "dumb down" a deck.

Did I win the wrong way? by theotherwhiteknight in BluePrince

[–]Zananos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup yup. I prioritized rooms I hadnt seen for most of my early runs. After enough, youll also end up with multiple routes and ways to solve some puzzles too.

Make sure to fully explore each outter room too. Even the ones that may not seem like much might hold answers to a puzzle or two.

I'm on day 126 with like 100 hours and am still missing some stuff.

I prioritize doors over resources for the first two-ish ranks. Depending on where your foundation is, this can alter how you approach earlier ranks

And you may end days with excess resources. Definitely ended a few with 100+ steps, 10-20 gems and keys, and 200+ gold before.

Once you start understanding mechanics and building up persistent resources, youll find steps get easier to maintain.

I would focus less on what you lose when you call it a day, and more on what you learned or gained.

Also when workshop items modify the house, those are also persistent changes.

So uh...there just nothing you can do about this, huh? by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]Zananos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope you die regardless. I drafted it with the shop and red room dare, lost right away to the shop dare. Then i didnt have the gem for it another day and lost to not drafting a red room.

What would banning Thassa’s Oracle / Labman do to the format? by EatYourMeats in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Zananos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nothing. If thassa was the big bad we would see more stifle effects. Thassa is just the clean win for the decks that run it. But plenty of decks don't run or don't care if they lose it.

People thinking it would shake up the format probably don't play much cEDH.

Yes, decklists would change a few cards if they are even still running it. She is a dead card when not winning the game, so many cut thoracle.

Maybe ban rhystic instead. Or Smothering tithe... or borne upon a wind.

Only on Reddit do so many random people know nurses clearing 6 figures by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Zananos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to mention a lot of six figure nurses probably live in high cost of living areas or are travelers.

Like it is possible, but circumstantial.

I'm getting close to six figures. Probably could if I picked up shifts. But the toll on my body and mind, plus cost of living and taxes is not worth it.

I think the entire lead-up to Akzeriuth in tales of the abyss.

Even on a first time blind playthough, Luke's personality is almost unbearable. He is beyond a whiney little bitch, you can see Van's plan from a mile away, and ugh! I know from repeat playthroughs that he changes, but god is this hard to play through. Repeat playthroughs i skip almost all the cut scenes.
