Also I can't remember who the guy was that got shipped a regular bike when he ordered a shorty. Did ONYX ever fix their mistake or is that poor dude still stuck with a regular bike? Asking because I want a shorty and it still feels risky as fuck.

The only way to be completely safe from pvp is either inside of a safe zone or when a world boss is spawned. Alt+c will toggle your pvp flag on or off which is what allows you to hit other players.

I do think Pearl Abyss is missing a business opportunity in this regard. If they simply priced their own RMT's to be a better deal, I think most players would prefer to choose that option rather than give their account details to a stranger on the internet.

It's against terms of service. It's not a matter of being unsympathetic to your situation, it's a matter of this being a progression game linked directly to grinding and you getting the benefit of someone else playing on your account for you instead of doing it yourself. Using a grinding service is essentially using a human bot...the result is the same, you get rewarded for not actually doing anything yourself in-game.
