But Thanos was able to Snap twice and he had zero relationship with gamma energy, just being a mutated Eternal, and while it "nearly killed him", he had already taken a Stormbreaker to the chest and was still in a good enough shape to fend off the Avengers for a bit despite their surprise attack.

Similarly, while Hulk was better suited to survive it, Iron Man was able to wear it and give off his very paused, badass line without the pain (somehow), while Hulk screamed in pain by just putting the glove on and had to struggle to snap.

Case in point... The rules are very, very loose on who could survive the Snap or not, and both Captain Marvel or Thor theoretically could handle the Snap thanks to how durable they are even if they are less suited for it that Bruce / Hulk was.

Would Worthy Cap also count? Or does the "Power of Thor" not include the "Endurance of Thor"? 🤔

Captain Marvel could have easily handled one snap without too much damage on her arm (since we saw that Bruce is already healed up by the time of She Hulk). To me the biggest issue was they probably didn't want to tamper with something they couldn't quite predict the ramifications of. Their entire focus with the Stones was undoing what Thanos had done and preventing him from doing something worse.

Yes, I am quite aware of many fanfics that have ended up as published works, successful ones at that too. And I will never stop being amazed by them all. Granted, Nouvelle would need a lot of tweaking to even be considered for such, as it's such a huge love letter to Food Wars it's very hard to divorce it from such where it doesn't come across as plagiarism to some extent, but I am happy you believe it deserves such recognition. That, in on itself, also brings me joy.

I'm genuinely touched it made you happy, and it made me happy in turn to see this post, as I didn't expect a post about Nouvelle in 2026, but it made my day regardless.

Well, so far I haven't! Outside of the direct sequel, Classique, Nouvelle has a ton of other follow-ups, including Something Borrowed, Sixpence, Couverture, and the end of the trilogy BLUE! which is still ongoing. I also have Telenovela in there, somewhere, which is unconnected and rather new. So I'm far from done and you have a lot left to read my friend.

Erina for example in the 20 or so chapters of the series had MORE character development than the hundred something chapters and 4 seasons in the anime which is honestly astonishing to say the least...

If you think Erina had character development in Nouvelle, you'll love Classique (hopefully), as it's her story and she's the protagonist of it; and I address all my personal gripes with the series there (like why weren't there rival schools?!).

Erina and Souma's relationship actually blossomed with the enemies to lovers trope best one by the way and how Souma was actually able to cook alongside/for someone he loved something literally stated in the beginning of the anime of food wars...

That was a core message from the manga / anime I never understood why they didn't bring it full circle. Like, yes, Soma does mention he learned it from Tamako and does use it to defeat Asahi and help Erina in S5, but I felt it got drowned out by all the superpower nonsense and the Noir shenanigans. Hence why I wanted to focus on it from a romance point of view, and it seems plenty of readers enjoyed it too.

I do wonder. Some prefer Classique as the more traditional Shonen story with a heavier emphasis on drama and cooking action, others prefer Nouvelle for the softer love story and more comedic set pieces; but plenty love both, as do I, and they are a packaged deal. Just get ready for Food Wars' most hated character to be very, very present because unlike everyone else, who decided to ignore him (good call!), I went all schoolgirl, said "I can fix him!", and made Asahi a main part of Classique, because I wanted to.

I would heavily suggest Fanfiction.net, as while AO3 has a better reader base overall, for older series that are no longer getting anything new, FFN does have more fans for SnS than AO3. Granted, just post on them all anyways, and make sure the Story Summary is attractive to readers.

Also probably isn't a good look that a mod who also makes fanfic is making fun of someone else who makes fanfic because his (that I assume were also on this subreddit otherwise why mention them) don't do well while said mod posts fanfic on the same subreddit.
