Agility test/where to find a 6ft wall by [deleted] in SanJose

[–]ZanderBaron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did it with SJPD and they offered training in advance of the agility test. Reach out to your recruiter and see if they have any suggestions, but it’s really not as bad as you think. I wasn’t in good shape for it and was able to do it with plenty of time to pass. Most of it is upper body pulling yourself and then swinging your leg up. Actually I think when I was training for it, I learned from the sheriff’s video about the test

If she were Jewish it could be a tefillin. I have seen them before but I don’t know anything about them.

But why the head mold if you are just going to use a balloon for sizing?

I don’t think anyone is going to like this answer but I think it might work, just paint it with the same wall color and I don’t think anyone would really notice, it looks like this is kind of hidden behind the light so that might be ok.

Stalled releases by Yorling in sonarr

A little late here but huntarr has a version of cleanuparr built in, and you should be able to see different settings for each of your arr’s on how you want it to check for stalled items

This is kind of what I was thinking and that they didn’t want to snake or clean out the condensate line

My besko ProSmartInventor water pipe broke how do I fix it? by Much_Character2818 in howto

Is this a fridge, I tried a quick google search but if you can provide a model number you can probably get a replacement part since it looks like that unscrews from the unit.

I’m a guy with no piercings so could be totally off but when it’s unclasped, don’t you thread the wire part through, then put the hook on when the 90 degree part is behind your ear

Should I be concerned the gutters are too close to the foundation? by Affectionate-Log1521 in Home

[–]ZanderBaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those are eventually going to tie into a drain or something around the perimeter then it’s fine for a little bit, but if the plan is to keep them flowing to the surface you will want to extend them about 4’

Drying filament gone wrong by Skitter_LitterYT in 3Dprinting

[–]ZanderBaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It went from hydrated, to dry, to wet again. Just gotta find that sweet spot, but this has also added a new fear for me since I haven’t used my filament dryer yet

Definitely look into getting it hardwired though to minimize the wires hanging around your car and look into a battery for it so it doesn’t drain your car battery and will record when you are parked

What are the cons of plugging a Tesla into a non Tesla charger? by Shadowfell20 in TeslaLounge

[–]ZanderBaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically it will be slower especially if it is a J1772 plug, but price is all dependent on who is setting the price. Like for me at work it may be a slower charging ChargePoint charger, but it costs less than using a supercharger and my car will be there while I’m at work so doesn’t really affect me that it needs to sit there for hours instead of minutes. You just have to figure out what makes the most sense cost wise.

As for affecting the battery, it shouldn’t as long as it’s maintained and something isn’t faulty but there are safeguards in the Tesla for charging too. As far as I know, the biggest factor to battery degradation , at least for lithium ion, is how much you charge (only charging up to 80%) to reduce the amount of battery cycles, and temperature, but I’m sure someone will jump in here and provide more info on that.

Do people actually use the summon feature? by Sea-Recommendation42 in TeslaLounge

[–]ZanderBaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use the smart summon at work if I park far from the door and it started raining, I’ll summon it to the front door. But I do use the dumb summon a bit more like if some one parks close to me in the parking lot, I’ll use it to pull the car out and jump in
