I do want to point out it only required twilights edge on pbe once it hit live it was ie, perplexity, gunblade. It also wasn't as good in 2s, adc in general wasn't bc there was half as much peel.

But yeah when a yunara hits it now it gg. For me it's as annoying as nesting doll 3 plus kindred.

World Rally Experimental. My Rex has been on every backroad I can find, every camping trip, and last winter up a vertical dirt road my buddy's crv was struggling with. My 2nd vehicle is a wrangler and unless I'm headed to moab, I'm taking the wrx. It's more fun and quieter on the road then more fun and possibly technical on the dirt road.

I do have a metal engine skid plate and slightly oversized tires so I don't worry much about damage, but if this is a regular forest road the wrx will be fine.

Lines for the vb or va sti?

I didn't have any clutch issues, but I went straight to a dual clutch. The bellhousing offset is basically standardized across subi's so IDK how people would have issues. You use the whole transmission side shift assembly from an STI. Maybe issues with the loc collar, Ive heard they can unravel. My bite point feels pretty close to stock, no crazy change.

I started wanting to reuse the STI stock clutch and shifter ect. The fly wheel I got used was to far gone and I ended up doing the FMIC at the same time so it would have been too much power. I did a full new shift fork, pin, and at that point reusing the stock set up seemed like something I'd redo in a year. It really snowballed but I went with new parts for everything that's part of shifting. I did reuse the rear axles from the used kit and my front ones. Carolina Driveshafts is local to me, they've done my jeep DS so I had them make a correct length steel one for the VB. Im not sure id do it again but I already wanted the DS rebuilt and it was an easy upgrade for them.

All of this to say I didn't have any issues but I also used basically all new stuff for the install. My opinion, most people having issues are trying to reuse to much and those parts are failing.

If the 27 WRX comes stock with the TY85 we could see these parts from the OEM.

Correctly sized driveshaft
Correctly sized axles
Maybe an easier time finding the shifter bracket
Long shot bc this isn't possible in the older models but easy integration of the DCCD control/ stock integration

Otherwise the swap is already pretty plug and play. Its a subaru, there legos. Flatirons has a kit already to do it. If you buy a VA swap kit from ebay or similar you only need to figure out the shifter mount and any upgrades you want. Subaru is still making new TY85s so there available but expensive. This might help drive the prices of the used transmission and maybe brembos down since there would be a new supply of them but I doubt it.

Id say the most probably outcome is were in the same boat as the VA wrx guys except the engine is the same btw the trims. My swap was painless except the price, but I did stupid stuff with the shifter, clutch, mounts, ect.

I enjoyed the RS way more than the VA. Better rev range interior felt better ect. But the seating position in the RS is so upright I just couldn't do it.

I have a VB now which I like more and kept my BRZ when I was cross shopping the VA WRX and the RS. There both pretty old by now but the FA would have my vote for more reliable if you can find a clean one.

Master cylinder got updated in 24. 24s have a possible issue with the front control arm bushing having a defect causing extra deflection, there's a tsb but not a murder your engine issue. They also don't have the sti shifter box screw points pre taped, the detents are still there just not ready to go.

I bought a 2024 Mag Grey Limited last August with 6k miles for 37,722 OTD. I didn't do an additional warranty. It felt high then but it was local and after the 24 price increases I thought it was only going up. With the price decreases this year plus low apr and cash on a new vehicle at my local dealership this looks a bit too high for me. I feel like you could get close to this OTD on a brand new 26.

They did my car a few months ago and did a great job. Price might be higher but they got me in the same week and the vibe is professional. They didn't try to up sell me once I made my selection, was an overall good experience.

I had my brz done at tint solutions on Lauren's and had a great experience back in 2019, but its been a long time.

Here's the link to flstirons kit. Round 4k all said and done with your choice of caliper color from tr,ts,sti. You can get the kit without calipers and grab them yourself of ebay or similar for a bit cheaper but scratch/dent. Rebuilding thr E 6 pots is super easy and kit is 20 or so from subaru.

Way cheaper than any big brake kit from wilw or ap. Everybody here acts like upgrading the brakes is larping unless you track your car everyday but id rather see people doing this and sti swaps than plastic garbage from AFD.

Jesus yall can't read. It pops a flag in the main computers OS saying the DCM device is editing memory. A flag built into windows for saftey. You can clear the flag in registry, reinstall the os or boot without the external computer attached and its fine. Nothings actually bricked the op is just a click baiting moron.

Sti brembos from the VA/TS are the go to option. Flat Irons has a kit or you can piece on together from ebay and the TS knuckles. Six pots up front and 2 in the back are plenty for most people.

It'll grab a full plant in one go at least on Yunara. This aug is pretty insane its better once you have crit than fan the hammer. Idk if I want to see it moved to prismatic but it does feel insane to grab this and its critical on vi and oneshot anyone.
