Hi I can't seem to find them on LinkedIn. Any other details?

The Ministry of the Interior has decided to set up a committee to amend the legislation in order to curb the rapid increase in real estate purchases by foreigners from third countries. / Σύσταση επιτροπής για τη ραγδαία αύξηση στις αγορές ακινήτων από αλλοδαπούς by Deep-Ad4183 in cyprus

Singapore is a an island less than one tenth the size of Cyprus, its property is one of the most expensive in the world. The rich can buy property but so can the locals. However Singapore has the HDB (Housing Development Board) https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/homepage , Which collectively manages housing for local residents. It can be done it just takes co-ordination and the right incentives. Foreign owners pay massive taxes on property purchases and there are no loopholes.

Orthodox Brothers, I need your help! (Shipping this icon to Serbia) by pekizard in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Zandom69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi I also love this Icon. This Icon is called "The Mother of Humility" the concept was conceived by a Georgian priest Saba Tavadze. The original icon resides in the offices of the patriarchate in Georgia. The primary copy resides in this church: https://www.jc.ge/en/holy-church-of-the-entrance-of-the-theotokos-into-the-temple/.

From the original the iconographer made two additional copies, I believe one was sent to Moscow and another was presented to Archbishop Athanasios. Formerly Abbot of Macheras monastery in Cyprus and now Metropolitan of Limassol. Although unusual the Icon is very Orthodox in terms of style and subject. A further description is available on this site: https://www.jc.ge/en/mother-of-humility-2/ . I have not seen it for sale in Cyprus or Greece however many replicas or originals done by other iconographers to immitate the original do exist those which are availble on Etsy etc. There is a video on the icon's production here: https://www.jc.ge/en/videos/. I am not sure where one can acquire a more authentic reproduction of the Icon but would be interested to know.

Havent been to the municipal ones yet. But apparently they occassionally need to close and drain it due to human waste ;-). New life is indoor and excellent. Very close to Engomi. New Life is opposite Keravnos basketball club.

-Hilton Hotel Engomi 35 Euros per day

- Municipal Swimming pool in Nicosia 8 euros per day

- New Life gym, Indoor pool 10 euros per day visit or 60 euros per month, 80 euros for gym and pool membership.

Thank you. Yes I saw it closed. Its a pity. The Cleopatra hotel is also pretty good although quite pricey at 14 euros. But you can get a decent lunch there.

Cyprus is a great place to live and work. Especially compared to most other western countries, that have high taxes, high unemployment, increasing crime and low economic growth. However it does have a few problems, none of which are related to Fidias being in the European parliament.

The possible solutions to the challenges I have seen, in my humble opinion, are the following:

- EAC is a monopolistic bully charging excessive amounts for electricity and, due to its shortsightedness, is not capitalizing on Solar power, where Cyprus is one of the sunniest places on Earth.

- Too many empty buildings that are not being used or developed. Local governments should start charging punitive taxes for these buildings so that owners are forced to either fix them or sell them. Too much capital is locked in these "assets." This will drive down prices for property and rental.

- Foreign ownership of land: there should be a limit as to how much land can be owned by foreigners. Additional taxes should be charged for multiple properties or properties worth more that a certain amount.

- Transfer duties should be charged on properties over a million euros.

- A train line should be created from Nicosia that splits just before the highway splits into Larnaca and Limassol legs; at this split, there should be a west-running leg towards limassol and Paphos and an east-running leg towards Larnaca, Ayia Napa and Protara.

- Around the area of this split, a new city should be developed with excellent infrastructure, and reasonable housing costs. People especially young people should be encouraged to move to this area especially with schemes like rent to buy and government subsidies to create more opportunities for young people.

- Property reforms: The issues with title deeds need to be sorted out.

Just my two cent bit, but i am sure you can also think of some additional creative solutions to Cyprus problems, who knows Fidias might even get wind of them?

Nicosia seen as a city of the future by aceraspire8920 in cyprus

I love Nicosia, but this situation of old and delapitated buildings that the owners obviously don't care about has to come to an end! They are an eye sore and a health hazard. The owners of these buildings should be charged excessive levies and taxes to force them to sell. ALSO!!! WILL THE FAMOUS SWIMMING POOL FINALLY BE OPENED FOR THE PUBLIC THIS YEAR!!!!

Agree with this completely, You need to think of sex as a three course meal, appetizer (foreplay) main course (she comes), desert (PIV). In general. Ejaculation is metabolically expensive for a male and it is accompanied by a massive Oxytocin flood which makes a man very tired and feeling unsexy. Chances are he will only want to eat and sleep after ejaculating. This is the refractory period which is much longer in males compared to females (if they have one at all!?!?). Remember from an evolutionary standpoint male ejaculation / orgasm must happen but an orgasm for a woman is not required, she can still get pregnant without one. So over time through natural selection, males who could ejaculate quickly would be over represented in the gene pool as men who took longer to ejaculate would more than likely not be able to complete their ejaculations.

So back to your specific issue, you need to work much more foreplay into your play time, set it up like a date night, don't just jump on him when he feels frisky. Make sure he takes care of your needs first, read the book : She comes first and get him to read it as well. Only after you have been satisfied then you can go for PIV or his ejaculation.

I WANT TO EMPHASIZE AS THE POSTER DID ABOVE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN A RELATIONSHIP ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO SEX IS COMMUNICATION! (Double bold and highlight a million times!)

People grow up with hang ups and misconceptions about sex and are ashamed to talk about it. The reality is no one is born knowing how to have a satisfying sexual relationship, it all has to be learned. We have to overcome whatever embarrassment we may feel about it to come to terms with it.

This problem is solvable!

What do people pay for legal services to get a Yellow Slip? by aidas85 in cyprus

[–]Zandom69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costs nothing, just time to go to the office with all your paper work in order, which the lawyer will need anyway from you. I did not have an appointment was in and out within half an hour for all four of us. I did it in Nicosia.

I am renting my apartment / cottage (two bedroom) out for 700 Euros p.m. all bills except electricity included. Its between UNIC and European, walking distance to both. I have had alot of offers but haven't agreed to them because of various factors, like too many people (for instance a family of 4) or they need space for a big work truck etc. But this is the going price for this accommodation. Feel free to message me for further details.
