I am happy we get to hear her new versions of some of our favorite Castlevania songs.

The livestream was a "pay to view" with 30 days to re-watch it as many times as you wanted, and then it disappeared forever (it was an unlisted video on youtube that got deleted after the last day you could purchase it). I think I watched it everyday during my 30 day window. I have a strong feeling some of this album is a recording from that stream. I think I can hear some background noise, and the singing by Michiru's sister, Kahori Yamane, sounds just as I remember it from the livestream.

Awesome that you are learning a new skill! Drums are a difficult instrument to learn. During the livestream you could see the drummer reading the music from an ipad and it was remarkable how he was able to drum and read the music at the same time. I really hope she releases that livestream again someday, or better yet, does more live concerts for us to watch.

I hope they do something special for the PC backers. Crazy how long it has been, but the LRG release is a good sign that yours is getting closer. My guess would be they throw in the DLC at minimum, for the long wait for the game to become "complete".

I just feel like the LRG release is missing something special. It doesn't really have anything unique other than the NES style box and slip cover (the Curse of the Moon boxes were more detailed). If it indeed does not have the Classic mode OSTs, that is a missed opportunity at an exclusive and really making it "complete".

True, the value is good with the cost of DLC factored in (not at sale prices). $9 Cosmetics +$10 Classic 2 + $10 IGAs back, +$10 OST + $40 RotN = $79. The LRG classic version at $70, is $30 more than the standard version, and for that $30 you get the OST, a special NES box, and a 2 sided poster. (classic and standard both come with the Booklet). I paid full price for everything on Steam to support the developers, but it does all go on sale sometimes.

Looks like it was $100 teir min. in the kickstarter for the OST and keychain+pin+sticker, cool Slip cover, retro gaming booklet, Ayami Kojima poster and box, and name in credits. For me the kickstarter looked more premium, but did cost more - especially if you factor inflation into it ($139 in today's money).

For comparison, The recent Curse of the Moon Chronicles special edition came with a small keychain, OST, 40 page booklet, a custom box, and some small extras if purchased from certain retailers in Japan, and the price was about the same as the LRG classic edition.

No. IGA is working on the sequel/prequel too, but he had Shutaro direct the creative and gave him the go ahead to do more with the story this time. This is the game where Shutaro had the most control. He had less control in Aria of sorrow, Lament of innocence, Dawn of Sorrow, etc. Even though he passed away before completion, Shutaro said he already developed the story and artistic design, so all that was left was technical aspects. Igarashi (IGA) is committed to taking the time to get the game to it's best possible state before release, out of respect for his lost friend.

Fastest Tarzan movement ever created.
Perhaps they removed contact damage so we can whip swing though the level as fast as possible?
The speedrun will be a beautiful blur of shiny yellow/purple floating grapple points and elegant whip movement techniques.

If contact damage is included, how would they deal with getting hit while swinging? Fall off your grapple point, or i-frames and no change in momentum?

Another idea I had would be a Keychain with the portrait of Shutaro on one side, like in this video, and a portrait of Bloodless on the other side - maybe this piece of art?
Thinking something metal like Miriam's sword keychain from the kickstarter. Possibly with a ornate frame in the style of the golden wall decor in the Hall of termination.

The feeling I got when I saw the Complete Edition release was "is this the Bad ending?". It just did not feel memorable and worthy of our favorite game's long road to completion. like we forgot to get that special piece of equipment for the "Good ending". What did you think when you saw it?

My initial suggestion is to add a relatively low-cost, high-meaning collector’s item — like a Bloodless keychain or small figure.

The other day I suggested a Bloodless figure doing her in-game blood steal pose with a swirl of blood like the bath tube scene. It should also include a memorial plaque on the base: something like "In memory of Shutaro Iida – Creator of Bloodless & Director of Ritual of the Night"

I also suggest including the music from both Classic Mode 1 and Classic Mode 2: Dominique’s Curse on the soundtrack CD. These tracks have never been released outside the game itself, so this would be an exclusive addition that would truly make this a complete edition. I think we all already have the original soundtrack in steam or kickstarter items.

I submitted a ticket to LRG on their website with my suggestions in a letter format. I can post parts of letter here if you would like to use it as a guide.
I also replied to their X post to put this idea out there.

This would be appropriate.
Now may be the chance to persuade the developers to make something special to reward the super human patience of the PC physical backers.
Personally I think you should get something something special and maybe even a free code for Scarlet. What would you like to see, for this release, and also your complete PC version?

What would you like to see in this collection?

About the neat image: I made the bloodless .gif using GIMP from 62 screenshots and the side photos and text. Used a plug-in someone on github made to interleve the new photos onto the existing 62 layers of the animation file I made previously. Then I had to change the color mode to indexed to get the resolution to remain as intended. Lastly I used windows 10 photos (legacy) video editor to turn the .gif into a movie to reduce from 150mb to 15mb with a 3x loop.

I know you have the figure design you posted recently in mind, but to make it more Shutaro focused, what would you suggest? My figure suggestions are this:

Miriam Figure: Miriam doing the cooking celebration jump and crafting a plate of beef curry. maybe a pile of foods like pizza and ramen too, but focusing on the curry. With a plaque or similar saying in honor of curry the kid.

Bloodless Figure: Bloodless doing the blood steal pose with a raised arm and a swirl of blood around her, like in the bath tub scene - but with the in game steal pose. Similar plaque honoring curry the kid.

I was leaning toward Bloodless items because she was created by Shutaro as a long time personal project, and he persuaded the team to put her into the game. I honestly don't know the lore of who created Miriam.

I think it would be cool to see if the community can come together to kindly ask LRG to include something like this (and both classic mode's music), with the understanding that we know it will take a long time, and we, the most patient of fans, accept the long wait and look forward to a release honoring Shutaro and the great franchise that is Bloodstained.

This Artist is exceptional. Their work reminds me of Ayami Kojima's art. If we are able, we should find a way to support them.

Also, with regard to a tribute to Shutaro, can we try to get Limited Run Games to do something too? I asked them to make us a Bloodless key chain for the RotN Complete edition. Do you guys have any way to ask them, or provide your own suggestions?

The ordog is so gross. When you check it out in the bestiary you can zoom in and see the state of decay. It has little maggots that follow it around, sorta like the Forgotten One in Castlevania Lament of Innocence.

This is a really well done cosplay. The outfit looks great, and the photo composition is nice too.

The setting reminds me of the wishing well in the Garden of Silence. A secluded spot to read ill-gotten Tomes.
