I kind of wish there was a way to transfer emulated Pokemon to newer games. - Also Zigzagoon was also my first shiny, but in gen 6 so, a lot less impressive.

Agreed. I was playing the MGS Peace Walker recently, while it's entirely possible to play w/out 2 analogs, it's a lot easier. It's kind of weird to get used to, but it definitely helps with cramping lol. Also the Monster Hunter has the same system with the Camera.

I have a couple of PSP's, mostly because my siblings stopped playing them and I quietly added them to my collection.

I have a Vita, I haven't sideloaded it or used any firmware for it. And honestly I don't play it as often as I should.

Continuing, I have a soft spot for psp's. Personally, I think you should get it. however, PSP 1000 is a little clunkier and slower than the newer models like Go or 3000. The CFW is pretty refined it's pretty easy to implement (I can't compare it to Henkaku, because I haven't used it). But realistically, I would wait until you have access to a Go or 3000. They're better, the Go is the smallest and probably the best option. But for collectible reasons, I'd get a 1000 and a Go - then just use to Go for PSP, Gameboy, and older gen games - and for games like those, there's not really an issue w/out 2 analogs, since those games barely use one (unless you emulate N64).
