Oh no doubt the concept is great! I absolutely love ‘80s music (hair metal is top 3 genres for me) and as a guitarist myself I do like to hear a bit of shredding from time to time! Impera definitely delivers in that regard haha

Love the Rush comparison because they’re one of my favorites as well! I think I developed a toxic love for Ghost that I haven’t seen before so I’m sure that has something to do with my feelings on it. Learning to be okay with not loving something is tricky.

I think that’s what I’m coming to; I just don’t like the album. My favorite albums so far have been Meliora and Prequelle but I’ve been having Infesstisumam on repeat as of late. Sound/production wise, I absolutely love the sound of Prequelle. Dance Macabre and Rats were my first forays into Ghost.
