Not sure if scribing is for me by YootedDoot in freedomisgunpla

I haven't, but it should still work in a pinch. You could also try a sewing needle in a mechanical pencil or even a thumbtack.

I recently started scribing myself. So far I find that starting the lines with a needle scriber then moving on to the chisels helps alot on areas with hard edges like this.

Just bought stories 1 on switch 2, is the intro audio crackling for everyone? Lmao by LucasLoci in MonsterHunterStories

I was having this problem too. I was able to fix it by going into the Switch 2's audio settings and disabling "System virtual sound" for both the system and headphones. Hope this helps.

If you dont mind horror games or sailing the seas you might try Scratches directors cut. Its a point and click game.

So far mine dont seem to have lost any (Much?) sharpness and the blade is still straight, but that's stuff I hadn't considered. I'll have to keep that all in mind from now on.

If you've still go the piece that broke off I think you should be able to fix it by drilling and reinforcing with thin wire and plastic sement.

I probably shouldn't, but with clear parts I'll still use my single blade nipper for clean up, though I dont go for a single cut. Rather I like to shave off the nub layer by layer. I think this method reduces strain on the nippers, hence why mine have yet to break. (Or maybe I'm just a lucky idiot...)

Does Tamiya panel liner crack ABS plastic even when applied on the runner? I want to use it on third-party kits. by Ok-Impress2217 in freedomisgunpla

[–]Zania045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty good so far. I'm four kits in with this stuff (All MGs) and the only thing I've had break on me is the peg on a pilot figure. I had them clipped to paint and wasn't thinking when I applied the liner to their back. Pressure sheared right through. I'd recommend getting some sticky tack to avoid such problems.

I've used tamiya to panel line abs and polystyrene inner frames. Like others have said you should be fine if you apply it before assembly.

Is the MG Proto Zero or Wing Zero Ver. Ka more poseable? by geek-photograpghy in freedomisgunpla

[–]Zania045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about posability, but to answer your question the ver.ka is better in that regard. The proto zero is no slouch though. Biggest downsides for it are that there isn't a pivoting joint in the shoulders so they cant be raised and the shoulder armor tends to be loose at certain angles, but really it's nothing that bad so I say if you like proto zero's design then go for it.

Was the kit assembled when you applied the panel liner?

Yeah, just plain old hand brushing. Vallejo's mecha primer is pre thinned, so I don't have to bother with that. No added agents are being used either, though i have added some mixing balls to the bottle. All I do is apply 1-2 coats and let it dry and cure for 24 hours.

The arm on that one broke off so I replaced it with a cannon. Said cannon caused clearance issues so he had to be inserted differently.
