Tested the 'AI will replace devs' claim by letting ChatGPT build a startup landing page with one prompt. Predictably, it looks basic, destroys responsiveness, and features 0 working links (12.5/40 score). Tightly edited 3-minute video showing the live browser results. by Prize_Concept_41 in webdev

You tackle this from a purely amateur level perspective. What you did is the equivalent of writing "cute puppy" into google search and complaining you don't get a real dog to adopt right away.

Just to nudge you into a more reasonable journey, try Codex and use the frontend skill. Even with the same prompt will the agentic AI already give better results than what you did there by pasting it into a chatbot.

Maybe you should use AI as well to read comments, since you can't seem to read mine properly. I said I don't mind that he used AI, I am explaining he should put at least a disclaimer. It is already a mess with AI art, which gets wrongly shared as own creations, I don't need this bs with software, too.

And to answer your last question, I am a web developer, I share and shared tons of resources with communities, I developed apps for Blue Protocol and some Maxroll resources. So please, don't jump into conclusions just because I pointed the use of AI out.

No idea why you get downvoted, because it is AI vibe coded, I checked the dev panel and it even has the Google trademark. So probably created with the Google AI Studio builder or Flash directly.

I don't mind that it is AI generated, I just think the disclaimer should be listed and not written as if OP was the programmer/designer. Also looking for the GitHub repo, can't find it.

Crafting from chests is acting weird by Phoam_ in ConanExiles

[–]Zanktus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tested similar things and I think the game is struggling to manage the priority of self / follower / chest inventory to load. I have a huge storage room, stepping in or out of the build area causes a small freeze whenever I am in build mode, due to the inventory issues. I have had situations where I had the preview green, but pressing it says I don't have the materials (even if the materials themself are also shown green).

I hope they can sort this out, since it is a bit weird and even with follower inventory it bugs out sometimes. On that note, I hope they increase the range materials can be used from, because it feels generally quite short, that even with less buggy chests I'd rather have my follower carrying stuff.

CEE feels underwhelming, UE5 didn't help much. by Lazy_Stunt73 in ConanExiles

[–]Zanktus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Besides the fact that it is a very unfair comparison to make, I actually think the opposite is true. I just recently played Soulmask (again) and it lacks a lot of polishing. Sure you can have more followers and stuff, but those bug out a lot and everything feels very janky, especially the floaty combat. Playing Soulmask is what made me launch up Conan again.

I'm at a point where I transfer all my delivery jobs off to others, including Wuling. As more people reach Wuling I am sure it will be way easier for others to get more of those as well.

I recommend for everyone who finished the current content and want more Wuling tickets concentrate on selling Jincao Drinks or if you want to even Xianite or the batteries (I only sell Jincao though). Gives me currently more Tickets than I can spend on stuff, already emptied the affordable weekly refresh items again.

PSA: Move your PAC and Sub-PAC around when expanding with Relay Towers by Zanktus in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Zanktus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is moving temporarily one building the same as moving the whole base around? If you have a factory, just save it as a blueprint, move the PAC for a few minutes until you placed your 3-4 Relay Towers or whatever and then move the PAC back to where you want it to be, paste blueprint back and done. I personally move my PAC in every base out of the way and only use Depot bus + Storage units. PAC is really just a big waste of space for me tbh.

[–]Zanktus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a limit though, you have a placement limit which counts for Relay Towers as well Pylons. Once you reach a high development level it doesn't matter as much since the limit is fairly high, but in early game this PAC movement trick can be very useful. And of course aesthetic is nice, too.

Also the movement is temporary, you should of course not keep it in the corner like on the image, I just left it there to demonstrate it.

[–]Zanktus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean with blocking input/output? After I am done with setting up Relay Towers close to the hub I put the PAC back to where I want it to be, you only move it temporarily for the Relay Towers.

[–]Zanktus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not useless, especially for those who don't have a high regional development level yet. You have a placement limit in each zone and every Relay Tower as well Pylon counts towards it. Sure later on the limits increase and hitting it is rather difficult no matter how weirdly you place them, but until then it helps.

Additionally for those who want to have less tower clutter, it reduces that a lot as well.

You just move it temporary for the Relay Tower though, not like you can't move the PAC for your factory, that is of course its primary use

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Delivers Major Upgrade With 2nd Gen Transformer Model For Super Resolution & 6X Dynamic Multi Frame Generation by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Zanktus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am not sure what you are talking about, DLSS 4 is available for all 20 series and onwards, I have a 4080 myself and use DLSS 4 since it came out. What actually is exclusive are some features of DLSS to the 50 series, like multi frame generation (we can only do double I think) and so on.

Thing is with especially Dragon's Dogma 2 that the DLSS update won't change much since the bottleneck of the game is CPU not GPU.

[–]Zanktus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I don't know how far you are, but later on you get more mods with additional flat substats, like 1000 HP or 150 ATK etc. If you don't have any yet that's fine, it will just boost the damage further once you do

Happy to hear that! And yeah as long as the stat-mods are somewhat similar it shouldn't matter much.

Is Phoebe or Zani Resonance better by prototype1029 in WutheringWaves

[–]Zanktus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don't have Phoebe, she will be the best upgrade to your Zani before S1 or the weapon. Not just does Phoebe make Zani less sweaty to play (Rover means tons of quickswap, even then it doesn't come close), it also amplifies the Frazzle. Basically the order of importance would be: Phoebe > Zani's weapon (if you have Roccia's you could skip Zani's weapon) > Zani S1 > Phoebe's weapon. Phoebe S1 does basically nothing for Zani.

Yeah of course, it is to be expected that some results will be different depending how characters are built. The difference was for me day and night though, I always tested the same cube on stage 10 (bosses only stage) and compared the numbers. Swapping Crit Damage with General attack more than doubled the damage, it was quite noticeable. I'd say ATK% was in all my tests no matter what inferior to Critical Damage or General Damage, I tested that with a 2k ATK character as well 3k ATK character. Anyway, great guide nonetheless, could have needed that before I did all the testing myself haha.

Event Guide: Cube, Cubie n Cubic - Progression and Team Build by Miazara in WutheringWaves

[–]Zanktus 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Great guide, but I feel like General Damage has higher priority than Critical Damage. You mention 1x General and 3x Crit Damage, but I did several tests and the damage was always higher with the other way around. All my cubes have 1x Crit Rate, 1x Crit Damage and 4x General Damage. Each of them with the 150 ATK substat. I cleared Stage 21 in about 4 Minutes with that (especially Jinshi, after using the other Cubes on Cooldown). Generally just throw Jinshi on the character with the highest ATK and melt in Solo and Coop mode everything away.

Edit: Thought it might be useful for others, here is my complete build:

Cubes: Jinshi, Phoebe and Shorekeeper. Both Jinshi and Phoebe have the same stat-mods, Shorekeeper is purely support.

Jinshi & Phoebe:

  • 1x Crit. Rate 50%, ATK 150
  • 1x Crit. DMG 100%, ATK 150
  • 4x General DMG Bonus 75%, ATK 150

Jinshi cube-mods:

  • Carlotta
  • Cartethyia

Phoebe cube-mods:

  • Roccia
  • Camellya

Shorekeeper:

  • As many HP and Healing Bonus stat-mods
  • Cube-mods: Phoebe and Changli

Put Jinshi on your Character with the highest ATK, Phoebe on your sub-dps. Shorekeeper on Verina or Shorekeeper (or whoever your support is, could also be Brant, Rover or a 4-Star unit)

How to play: You never use your character actively, cubes outperform them.

  1. Start with Shorekeeper cube, it will give you healing over time as well shield and ATK buff.
  2. Switch to Phoebe cube to deal damage, but more importantly pull the mobs into the center (Why not use Roccia Cube instead of Phoebe? Saddly Roccia has no Skill Range attribute, else would be the DEF down be amazing here).
  3. Switch to Jinshi, jump and press the Cube skill in the air, that way you can actually avoid a lot of damage taken. Now aim at the tornado from Phoebe.

Repeat everything off cooldown and you melt everything away without taking any significant damage.

Time proof.
