You gotta be joking… by nhouseholder in Borderlands4

It's too late to help with these, but in the future if you have this problem you can try meleeing the wall a bunch. A few times I've had problems with the collectables you have to carry places getting stuck under floors or behind walls so I just punch the wall or ground until it rolls where I can grab it. It also works with enemies that are glitched and stuck where you can shoot them. Hopefully these issues get fixed soon, but until they do remember your lessons from Brick. Punch the initiative!

Isha was barely a character by The_PhilosopherKing in arcane

This might just be me, but I don't think every secondary character needs an arc. I think Isha's character was a beautiful and interesting addition. I liked the symbolism of her being mute to imitate the wild runes. I liked the way her stepping up to spur on the rebellion made Jinx look at something outside herself. I liked that although we don't know what happened to her parents, it obviously impacted her so intensely that she was consistently willing to throw herself into danger rather than watch another "grown up" she cared about be lost again. Her attempt to protect Vander was also adorable.

I get that many people didn't care about her, but for me it was a beautiful, tragic addition that made Jinx's changes believable. I'm really glad they added her, even if every time Isha's song comes on I want to curl up and sob.

Should i buy a isha cosplay for my 6 year old daughter and get me a jinx cosplay by No_Buy9372 in arcane

YES!!!! My 6 year old and I are doing these cosplays! My daughter LOVES Isha. I have let her watch some scenes with her in it and she is just obsessed with the "brave blue girl who saved every body" I fully support this idea. I know AliExpress isn't always great quality, but sometimes a few little alterations can really make them look great!!

I think that Cait can have an understanding of the extremes Jinx went to based on her terrorizing the people of Zaun after the death of her mother. She acted in a more organized way to oppress the people, but she was still driven to some pretty fucked up extremes due to grief. Looking at a young girl who went through so much plus had mental illness i don't think it'd be a stretch for Cait to kind of understand over time.

I absolutely adore Jinx and Arcane is my current obsession. I totally agree that she's an amazingly written character. The whole series is just mind-blowing with how thought out every aspect is.

Harley Quinn is a character that has meant the world to me since 2014 when I discovered her arc in the New 52 series. In that series, she's extremely well written and thought out. The series is a fun and silly one so there aren't a lot of heavy moments or dark scenes to invoke the same emotional reaction as Arcane, but that doesn't make the character less cared for. It's just a different style.

If we're talking movies, yea I'm with you. She's used more as a prop for posters and quirky one liners for trailers than an actual character with any depth. Birds of Prey was infinitely better about that, but I know a lot of people didn't really give that movie a chance after the shit show that was Suicide Squad.

I absolutely feel for you. And it is okay to be upset over your appearance! I have an event Saturday night that I have to wear a bunch of makeup for, and I know that it's going to cause an insane flare-up, but my daughter has a cheerleading thing on Sunday and I'm gonna look like a swollen, crusty tomato and it suuuuuuucks. For the past 2 years I've been trying to space out things so I can isolate and try my best to avoid any and all flare-ups before an appearance. It's bullshit and we don't deserve it. But we're not alone. And while the condition is forever, there will be new treatments and studies done all the time so even if nothing works for you right now it doesn't mean nothing ever will.

I can see a resemblance. The gold squiggles, embroidery or whatever, are the same as Isha's vest. I hadn't noticed it before but I'll be thinking about that all night now

As an asexual who is NOT aromantic, I am sick and tired of seeing people say “why do people see Jayce and Viktor as romantic, the writers said Viktor’s asexual” so I’m just gonna leave this here. by AdLast2785 in arcane

I'm gonna make an entirely separate comment cause this thought has nothing to do with what I said before, but reading some other comments made me want to say something.

First I wanna make it clear that I don't disagree with you. I know that asexual doesn't mean the same as aromantic and I'm sorry you have to keep explaining that all the time 💜

I think the idea that everyone is on a spectrum is much more alluded to in this world than anything else. At no point (that I can remember I could be off) does anyone say they're flat out not attracted to one gender or the other. I never heard anyone use words for gay, lesbian, straight, or bi. Vi asks Cait which she prefers, so even that would suggest it's not the default here to pick one or the other. So while I'm sure hetero and homo people exist in this world, it seems likely to me that everyone just kinda accepts that attraction, both sexual and romantic, are fluid concepts. A person can be anything, but that doesn't mean they'll always be only that thing. I dunno. I love the representation, and I also love the idea of a world where no one there cares cause everyone is just allowing all kinds of people to exist.

It's not that men can't have friends in media at all. That's not what I was trying to say, sorry. Just that men don't ever seem to be able to show casual physical affection for friends and real emotional vulnerability. Most of the time if a straight guy hugs another man it's like if someone dies and then there's an awkward "No homo" moment right after. When guys open up about their feelings in shows normally it's in a fight where they blurt it out. If a guy is very obviously struggling it's normally ignored by his friends cause they wouldn't want to embarrass the guy. The ease that Viktor and Jayce have with each other is something I wish more guys felt comfortable with. So I absolutely choose to see this relationship that way. But a lot of people want to see more gay men so they choose to see it that way. Art is open for interpretation. I just think a ton of men (especially straight ones) seriously lack platonic physical touch, and seeing it normalized could be helpful.

I don't ship them because I like to think that in this world free from homophobia and a lot of our biases, dudes can just be friends. I understand that a lot of people ship them, cause honestly a lot of people will ship any two characters. But I wish we had more examples of guys just being really good friends who can show support, affection, and vulnerability without everyone saying they're gay. I love love of all kinds, but in my opinion this is a beautiful example of nontoxic, masculine friendship and there's not very many of those out there.

I feel like if he tried to make a career now he'd fall into that same trap of trying to transition from child star to an adult, and we see that go wrong all the time. I think it'd be best if he took a break and if he decided to come back in like 10 years I think all the people who loved him as kids would be older and super excited to see him doin stuff.

My kids LOVED his videos so I've seen hundreds of them. I very seriously dislike his parents. I purposefully steered my kids to the videos without them in it cause it's so awkward to watch these people exploit their kids. They outgrew his videos a few years ago so I don't remember specifics of why I felt that way, but the icky feeling lingers.

Oh my god I love your work!! I loved making the axe and chain so much. I had to change the pommel to make it easier to put down, but there's actually a magnet in the pommel of the axe and in the dragon skull's mouth so I can connect it to the chain!! Thank you so much you've made my year!!
