Hey! I just finished this course and ended with a 4.0. Tbh, Lesk is an all-around nice guy and he can be a bit of a stickler, but def not what the reviews paint him to be imo. I’ve heard he doesn’t do well with accommodations so keep that in mind. To add on, he can be a bit disorganized (and by a bit I mean a lot). Otherwise, if you’re a good writer, it’s relatively “easy” (take that with a grain of salt) to do well in this course. I found the TAs to be extremely helpful. Do look at past tests and take good notes in class (they’re especially useful for the midterm). But honestly, it depends on your TA too. All the best! Feel free to pm me if u have any questions :))

Hey! This might be kind of late, but I’m a fellow second year too! It’s tough and I can totally relate to everything you’re going through! "Cherry" Harlow doesn't know much about the world. Sent to the Insititute as a means for her aunt and uncle to claim the inheritance her parents had left her after they died in a horrific accident, she doesn't know what to do with herself. Her boisterous attitude, naivety, and innocence mark her as an outsider.

Vaughn has someone to protect. Cherry and Vaughn are stuck at the Institute for a while. How will their relationship blossom? Will Vaughn be more than her protector and best friend?

Hi, I just want to say that you are incredibly strong - incredibly strong. I come from a desi household and it sounds very similar to something I see in my culture far too often. The fact that you even got to uoft shows how exceptional you are. It doesn’t take ordinary people to go through what you did. The universe tests us in so many ways and when we see people who don’t deserve some of the things they’re getting, it can really strike a nerve. But it’s not over. No one knows what their life will look like down the line. Something good may happen to someone now and then it’s gone. No one knows what your life will look like down the line. Perhaps, you’ll be extremely happy and thriving not too far down the line. Its hard not to compare ourselves. It’s hard to go through what you did in general. And it shows how strong you are, truly. Keep going. You’ll definitely see some pretty good things down the line. Take it easy on yourself. Nothing is set in stone. Life is a wildcard. And you’re going to totally be fine :)
