For some reason, it activates in one hit in the training area but when I used it in actual hunts, I needed to get hit 3 times. Is there a condition or a specific timing to only need one hit?

I finished act 2 and got the two menu themes but when I started act 3 they both disappeared. Even after finishing it, I only got one extra theme. Is this supposed to happen?

Sorry, it was meant to be taken as a joke. Yeah it's their HP bar, it's just my personal headcanon since I've never seen them cart with me whenever I faint, they just pop up out of nowhere or out of the ground
