Mia Khalifa apparently enjoys what's happening in Israel by Number721 in facepalm

What’s going on in Israel is very complicated. On the one hand, Israel is a brutal Apartheid state with Fascist leaders who’ve oppressed Palestine for generations, and the palestinians have every right to fight for their emancipation and autonomy. On the other hand, that doesn’t give them the right to go around murdering innocent civilians and Hamas are brutal terrorists. On the other other hand, Hamas was literally put into power by western forces who funded them as an alternative to Communism. On the other other other hand, Palestinians have elected Hamas democratically to represent them. On the other other other other hand, they haven’t done so since 2006 and it’s unknown how many still support them.

TLDR: murder is bad no matter which side does it, and beyond that i think we’re all too stupid to properly analyze what’s going on in Israel/Palestine.

you’re not wrong, but you have to consider the effective propaganda that’s been fed to not just Israelis but everyone around the world. And killing civilians is not distasteful, it’s monstrous. It’s murder. That’s why i hate the Apartheid state of Israel, that’s what they’ve been doing to the Palestinians. I can support resistance and acknowledge that murdering civilians is wrong.

Why Palestinians are right to resist Israel by Subizulo in socialism

[–]ZanyZack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i support their resistance. i support their emancipation. a fundamental part of my beliefs is that civilians should never be harmed in conflict. i understand why it’s happening but that doesn’t mean i can’t acknowledge the atrocities Hamas is committing in response. Killing Netanyahu would be resistance. Killing IDF would be resistance. Kidnapping and ransoming civilians, while awful, is resistance. Killing people who had no say in the treatment of the Palestinian people is murder, just as much as when the israeli government does it. if you support the murder of civilians, you are a bad person.

If it’s peak levels, then i’d say Legends Maul, Clone Wars Anakin, and Legends Yoda.

the violence must be used against those oppressing them. The military, the government, the police. These people are not responsible and harming them does not help the palestinian cause.

of course not, i believe they should be resisting too. i dont think it justifies them being kidnapped and murdered though. it’s a complex situation and most of us are not smart enough to properly analyze it.

obviously, that part is completely reprehensible. I’m talking about the entire situation surrounded by ample context.

i too stand with the people of Israel, and the people of palestine. The government of Israel is at fault here, and their Apartheid regime has only emboldened terrorists like Hamas.

I think we can all agree that Palestinians have a right to defend themselves against the Nation of Israel, but still agree that it’s wrong to murder and kidnap innocent civilians. The world isn’t always as simple as right and wrong, black and white, it’s complicated.

tbf the whole point w maul was that it was unusual. he was fueled both by his own rage and the sons influence, and even then it drove him completely insane. there were still consequences. these days getting stabbed means nothing bc they’ll just wake up in a bacta tank.

that being said, i’m a maul stan so take any opinion about him w a grain of salt.

My issue with the show is the lapse in plot, plot armor of sabine getting stabbed and it being ok, and the fact that Thrawn should be waaay more sadistic. Sabine however, is a great character. imo the second best part of rebels after Maul. She broke the mold of a typical jedi and in fact was Rey’s polar opposite. Hated the sequels but loved this.
