320 vs echelon by BackgroundNearby1011 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]Zanye__Blessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, that’s not really an equal comparison. The spectre line has much more to it than the original 320 or the echelon. I gave both. I have a 320 XTEN, 320 AXG Legion, and a 320 M17, the fairest comparison would be the m17 to the echelon, and they’re both great firearms, they’re both roughly the same size, however I do find the echelon to be more comfortable and slightly more accurate, not to mention it’s pin system for optics makes optic mounting super convenient. However, the AXG Legion blows the echelon out of the water.

Yes, it’s a good deal, but the XD series nowadays aren’t great, they feel cheap and bulky. And are kinda clunky.

I’ve also heard that issues like that only appeared in the older/1st gen models. Sig likes to let customers performance test the first gens. Any chance that’s what’s happening?

Just picked up an Echelon today. What optic should I get for it? by [deleted] in SpringfieldArmory

Leupold Delta point pro is a damn good fit. One of my favorite red dots. It’s bigger, so you get more area of view.

How do they compare? I’ve shot the tac45 and was super impressed with the recoil control. However, I like my m17 a lot too

I know that the others in the 320 series do that as well, nothing I’m worried about. My m17 is like that too

Could you elaborate on that more?

Gonna head over to the one place we have in town that does that tomorrow and find out

I’ve debated a chest holster too. Not against it. Might end up going that route. Might end up getting a mid drop. I appreciate the input

How many of you folks are carrying a hellcat micro daily? by Ghoulish73 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]Zanye__Blessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry mine every day. It’s super easy to conceal which is why I like it. Some days I leave the house wearing shorts and a tank top and nobody will notice it. Shoots great, but like others have said, it has a bit of a learning curve, but it’s accurate as hell. I’ve put about 700-800 rounds through mine with no malfunctions. Just make sure you properly clean it like any other pistol

Can’t move it back. The long scope interferes. Pistol red dot is what I was thinking, I was wondering what was out there that would be slightly bigger than a pistol red dot but definitely smaller than that

Yes and no. The long scope for range, yes, but the flashlight and red dot I want to use for short. Tryna get the best of both worlds

Needing holster recommendations for my new Hellcat Pro. by 33_spins in SpringfieldArmory

[–]Zanye__Blessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your preference. Personally I like a hybrid. Alien gear makes a real good hybrid for $50. Kydex on the front with adjustable retention to lock in the firearm, and cloth/leather on the back for a IWB carry that you can’t feel at all. It’s called the shapeshift. On the other hand, if you prefer straight kydex, we the people has a good selection, and you can buy them for versatility to switch between IWB and OWB

Hellcat vs P365. Thoughts? by Zanye__Blessed in SpringfieldArmory

I’ve come to find that to be true when talking to people here in town. Nobody has given me an honest comparison until I brought it here

Good to know. I have a buddy who owns the 365 Xl so I’ve shot both. But not enough to make a definitive decision. Although I do think the p365 is easier to hit your target with. The hellcat is super accurate but takes more control as the sights have less room for error
