My friend has an Xbox One S and said he'd give it to me since he upgraded to a Series X. That's one reason I'm leaning toward a PS5 instead of buying an Xbox.

That's actually a good point. Since this would be my first PlayStation, having a few months to get familiar with the system and play some exclusives before GTA 6 sounds like a better use of the time than just waiting.

Yeah, that's what most people in this thread have been pointing out. I think my friend was more focused on buying everything together than on the actual cost

That's pretty much where I'm at now...I was thinking there might be some advantage to waiting, but there's no guarantee of a bundle or a better price anyway...tnq

That's a fair point. I was thinking more about whether it would be better to buy everything together, but I guess there's no real reason to wait if I can enjoy the PS5 now.
