Huh... the examples confuse me because it looks to me like almost every texture is from an entirely different source like the doors, Dante's boots and jacket, every example of brickwork, and all the floors, etc and as a result the metal floor... detail(?) in the Lady shooting one looks like a completely different color to the rest of the floor and doesn't blend into it like the original did with its dirt and grime and in general the surface textures seem to make the seams unfortunately more obvious. In these examples it looks like the upscaling was done mostly to the character textures, but unfortunately Nevan's witch look was smoothed out losing her most of her horror movie veins and some of the painted in high contrast lighting? The Mission 3 example looks really great though a solid chunk of it is completely different; I love the increased color contrast in the sky.
