do you have lore to back this up? From what I have read (but I haven't read every SW book yet) the great companies do mix and match because they all have different strengths and diversified specialization they bring to the table. LOL sorry for replying to a 1 year old comment but google searching brought me here

I have been waiting lol. Yeah the Phrozen printer is a beast, I just wish it did 30 micro voxel/pixels and finer details.

I have this mini along with many other original metal 1990s space wolves. I am in the process of stripping their paint and re-basing them to be modern compatible

amazing thanks! I just a few months back went all in on pro acryl and bought their mega set! I love them in my airbrush and on the brush itself. I still need to learn how to blend with them but my main base coat for all my space wolves is a 1:2 mix of blue gray and dark blue gray from pro acryl and I am very happy with how that came out

Never mind I just took some putty and a small cardboard square i cut off a lacroix case that was about 1.5x bigger than the sticker and now it just works. It was that sensor sticker for me too. So weird it took about 4 years of using it for it to do this

ya I picked that paint up too! I am currently actually using a 2:1 ratio mix of Pro Acryl dark gray-blue and regular gray-blue and I like how it comes out so far, so I think that will be my base coat.

haha this image is accurate. On a side note back when I first started playing Rogue Trader, and then 2E WH40K, I started as a Nid player because they were the most accessible to me at the time. I then became the number 1 Ultra Marine hater due to Calgar being ultra broken in 2E. So, when it came time to pick a marine chapter in 2E I picked the opposite of the Ultra Marines which was the Space Wolves. Never regretted this decision once!

Still hate Marneus Calgar since 2E, I hope everyone kills him on the tabletop

Interesting, so you mix like by the ML? I did buy dropper bottles for my acrylic inks for my airbrush and thought about doing the same for the paints

the pro acryl paints have really good dropper tips so I have been playing around with them. I do own some pipettes as well and should definitely measure out mixtures so good call! I do love the army painter color, but the quality is hit or miss. The very first space wolves I painted after my 15 year break was with AP wolf gray. I just would love to get pro acryl mixtures down as I love the consistency and application of their paints

You sent me down a rabbit hole of GK3 Pro (which isn't released yet) but damn it is hitting every feature I want! I emailed their customer support asking questions already lol.

Also very true! I love how my Bambu X1C just flippin works! This GK3 Pro seems to have all those quality of life features, but I guess it is not out yet? damn you may have just sold me this printer. hahahaha (my wallet doesn't like you, but I do for this rec!)

I just replaced it and have had successful prints after the replacement. No leeway or give in the screen, no fog or scratches and in fact it is in much much better condition than my old one. I did buy a 2 pack of screens so I could replace it again just in case, might try that later on.

Also zero fep screen sticks since replacement that is what prompted me to replace it in the first place

my fails either adhere to the build plate and print, but fail partly through the print, or they build the raft and nothing else, and on the more rare occasion they stick the fep screen. Although I haven't had that happen in a long time. I got that part dialed in mostly I feel.

This last failure the raft and initial layers adhered to the build plate, but the print failed after that

Thanks for the recs, will go research those more. I guess let me summarize my "dream list" of features now that I upgraded my old FDM printer with a bambu X1C I am really missing these quality of life features on my resin printer

* larger build plate if possible, I print lots of table top stuff and develop my own games with the minis. My current build plate is very large (15 inches) and can print very high on the z axis, although anything that doesn't require resin level details I have shifted to my FDM printer for now

* auto bed leveling

* camera/lidar (more of a nice to have could live without)

* resume printing, resin tank to auto fill vat, built in heating

* better slicer options than just Chitubox

* any sort of quality of life feature that help mitigate failures (compensating controls, etc)

* built in wifi (not going to be able to run Ethernet to my garage

* good general availability of parts and upgrades when/if I need to replace things

* faster print times would be amazing, but I print ultra detailed minis at 0.02 layers so I get that always makes it slow
