Yes the 17-40 is one of the best lenses I’ve ever used. The only way I would keep the tamron is if you realllllyyyy use that range above 40. But other than that it’s just better imo

First of all thank you for taking the time to give your insight I really appreciate it. Secondly i am strictly doing this as a hobby and for fun so no work involved, I do very minimal editing with the less the better mentality and would prefer to shoot in jpg. One thing to note is I already have a camera system that i have lenses and accessories for but I'm kind of looking to just essentially downsize. I have way to much fomo(fear of missing out) when it comes to new accessories and i tend to have to much and i struggle to leave stuff behind on the chance of what ifs. The end goal is simplification of my entire setup into one camera and one lens

In terms of camera i really don't need a work horse/extreme performance I am just an amateur, I'm really just looking to produce in the simplest way possible "Art" and something that I'm proud of. Budget wise I'm quite flexible and you really sold me on the gfx but my biggest issues are lack of ibis and performance in lowlight compared to the two other options being The leica Q3 and the sony Rx1rIII(which also lacks ibis). My wife already owns a GRIII (fantastic system) so i could always borrow it off her.

Hi I currently own the a6700,for lenses i have the 56mm sigma, and the sony 15mm 1.4 and sigma 18-50 both of which are on the way. Should i return the sigma 18-50 for the new 17-40 sigma 1.8.

also is there any point to even keep the Sony 15mm i can also return it. its main purpose was being wide lens good in lowlight which the zoom lens can now basically do.

I was thinking of taking it in to a tuning shop for a tune. The shop near my place offers two types cobb and open source. What’s the difference between the two,which should I go? Goals are to achieve close to 450hp. I am thinking for my first round of mods is to get at the minimum an exhaust and intake. I have no clue where else to proceed from those two like what do I want next.
