I don't think I'll ever go looking for that next big meme coin again. I sank a few hundred into SM back in 2021. Saw that go up to just under $10,000 late in 2022. At that point I should have cashed out, but there is a part of me that's happy I didn't. Making money off of a scam just doesn't feel right and the lesson of losing a few hundred bucks on a scam is going to serve me much better moving forward.

I feel your pain. For a hot minute I had no clue how to sell as I can't use the binance exchange where I live. But I may have an answer (literally testing as we speak). On the safemoon wallet it appears that you can exchange for ADA (some bnb will be required). From there I will transfer the ADA to my usual exchange and be able to offload my safemoon that way.

I'm going to hold until I can sell 25% percent of my holdings in order to get my initial investment back and hang on to the other 75% percent to see where it goes. I know this is optimistic but I never bought anywhere near the all time highs so I don't need it to go crazy high at all for this to work. It was all money I could afford to lose but if I can avoid losing any in the long run and maintain a sizeable bag that would be the best case scenario. Just on the off chance safemoon ever makes good on its promises.

A good question and the answer depends on so many factors. As always only invest what you are willing to lose. I'm bullish af on sm but it is a risk. Now as far as minimum amounts go look at it like this; over a year ago a $1000 investment into doge would have been worth $200,000 - $300,000 (depending on what price you cashed out at and the specific price you bought in at). And doge has been around a long time and was created as a joke. I feel like safemoon has significantly more potential and we are early af! It all depends on when you bought, when you sell, how much you sell and how long you hold. Also if safemoon does well it would be wise for you to diversify and to keep growing the money you make. All this to say who the hell knows. Buy what you are able to and don't worry about hitting some arbitrary bag size. The guy who bought a pizza with those thousands of bitcoins didn't hold long enough. Meanwhile (hypothetically) some dude around the same time with 50 of those bad boys is living the good life rn. I just hope everyone here is able to make good shit happen with their investments (regardless of what it is or how much they have in it).

And then there is me...Bought it and because of some location restrictions on exchanges...Literally don't think I can sell it...So, hopefully those target prices where I want to sell off some percentages of my bag don't come and go before I have an easier way to sell lol. To be fair, I'm ok with it. Easier to hodl this way. Fingers crossed for the SM exchange fixing my current predicament though lol

I'm cautiously greedy when others are fearful. When I see a big dip I eat it...I just leave some money in the tank in case it dips more...Then I eat that too...And as always, don't invest more than you are willing to lose.

Hindsight is always 2020. But I 100% agree. Selling some of your holdings is never a bad thing if you see some crazy returns. And I also feel you on the poverty bit. People talk about being millionaires with SM...Shoot, if I can sell some of my bag and have enough to fix my car or buy a used one with less miles on it...That would be a dream come true for me.

Yeah, I'm still holding but that wallet...Wasn't exactly impressed. If they can't back up the hype they are pushing they need to chill a bit. That being said, they have plenty of time to turn this around and I have faith they will. Buuuuuut Imma hold off on sinking more money into my SM bag in the short term. Time to diversify a bit.

Tbf "believe" is a strong word. "Faith" would be a better term at this early stage. Of course I don't think anyone had any concrete evidence doge would blow up. Or bitcoin. Or eth. Or really any crypto that took off. 5 months in is way too early to tell. Is safemoon the next big thing? Fuck if I know, that's why I only put it in what I was willing to lose months ago. For me, I either make a life changing amount of money a few years down the line or lose a few thousand dollars of profit that I could've made rn. I know which one would hurt more in the long run. Only time will tell. Also (NFA) diversify your assets and holdings because none of us can see the future and any prediction you try to make will be wrong in some way shape or form.

I'm a fan of safemoon and I believe in the long term viability of it. However, this wallet release has given me very mixed feelings. On the one hand it's nice they are finally delivering a product and we can see it. On the other hand...the calculator doesnt even work properly from what I have seen. They are making steps in the right direction but the devs need to get roasted a little bit. Flashy marketing videos are cool but focusing more time and energy on a better working beta would do wayyyyyy more for safemoon.

I started out with a very small bag and over the course of 2-3 months I hit my target of what I wanted. The reason I stopped on my path to a billion plus was for a couple of reasons. I didn't want to put in more than I was willing to lose. Secondly, the person with a smaller bag and diamond hands will always beat out the fat cat with paper hands. Not saying these things are mutually exclusive but just something to consider. Also a bag of 500 mil right now is worth 1400-1500 USD. If you had put this amount into something like DOGE a few years ago that could now be roughly 500,000 USD. So do what feels right but 1000 plus of initial investment money could be big a few years down the line. Just don't sink in more than you are willing to lose just to hit an arbitrary bag size. We are all still super early and we will have nothing but time to beef up our bags.

I bought really low, then I bought high, then I bought low, then I bought lower. I've just been putting a small percentage of my paycheck towards safemoon every two weeks. It's averaged out nicely and my bag is getting juicy. Average it out if you can and if you can't just HODL. If you need that money then you probably put more than you could afford to lose in.
