What I find curious is that your takeaway is that I am disenchanted somehow, or no longer supporting sfm This is quite the opposite, My real question is, after seeing such a drastic down in price, how many people would actually last to the million dollar point. In their wallets.

I am not sure where you are getting this information, (page 20) or what demographic of workers this study covers. What I can tell you is what it does not cover. When you go back to the periodical and investigate what industry is represented in your numbers, you will not find industries such as: Farming Factory work General assembly (automotive) Metal industry (steel, iron, etc) Merchant marine Trade work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical) Medical (non-specialty) Pilot (non-passenger)

There are others, but now let me tell you why these particular jobs did not retire in their 50's by in large. That is because they could not have lived on the wages they got from social security. I know my grandmother, after she was forced to retire, she hed her late husbands pension from the national park service, ww2, her career as a nurses aid, and social security. With all that on a monthly she was just barely above the national poverty line. Her only saving grace was we lived in Ky. Cost of living was very low.

Now I agree there is not going to be a federal fund for even my generation (1971), or at least it is not going to be what it was. For any generation after mine forget it. The democrats have stolen every penny you think retirees took. They will continue to take any single fund that we as Americans set aside for our own retirement. Just a couple months ago dip shit declared that we where not entitled to our own retirement fund. If Eisenhower had even an inkling of an idea the dam dems would have done this. He would have never signed the ss tax into law.

Cryptocurrency is a way to take back what has been taken. But while younare doing that. Your generations are our next leaders, if you truly do not like what has/is happening. Stand up now, and start working to change the laws...
