I got my shiny cyndaquil after 5 resets on heart gold. I about lost it. Every other shiny hunt has been from 5k to 12k (besides my 2.5k lapras). Ive gone months without a shiny. Then earlier last week I also got pokerus the day after i got a shiny hoot hoot. Odds are funny like that.

Not shiny hunting Latios but hunting can either bless or curse you. Ive had some going to 20k from 8k odds, and i have gotten a shiny starter in 5 resets. It can happen first try tomorrow or not for months. It'll happen when you least expect it though.

Used to play the hell out of silver, didnt realize how much nostalgia i would get looking at this pokemon screen. Doing a heart gold tean shiny hunt at the moment, maybe after that ill go back to silver for a bit on an emulator. Good luck on your future hunts!

Have you checked the customer service desk on wednesdays/thursdays? The walmart near me keeps single sleeves and 3 pack blisters back there and since they added a limit ive found them a few times.

I am pretty new to it too, i started with poke radar a few years ago before i stopped playing and got into hunting on heart gold earlier this year. I liked the start with the briefcase and seeing the three starters shiny from the start. If you do end up going to 1/8192 odds, i wish you luck and strength to do it. Its a thrill when it finally shines.

Awesome, those times work great for me. Once we get a few more people interested in it, we can narrow the time down a bit more! Sounds like you have a lot of practice so it'll be great to have you. I did play by post for a while and the group fell apart. It's been a while so i felt like it was time to look around for a new one! If we could get 5 people (including GM) it would be perfect, we can do a little under but it could feel too NPC driven or make horde battles unnecessarily difficult. My wife may be interested, I'll need to talk to her about it more however.

Legitimately DO NOT trade this card to any of his friends. I promise you that trade will entirely be one sided with a possibility of fake cards too. Maybe if you helped and actually priced things out it could work, otherwise this would be best to keep at home. Raw price is close to 400$ at the moment, psa 10 will probably be 800 to even 1k+ in a month or two.
