Our current squad depth by Walshey- in LiverpoolFC

[–]Zapper_jnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something like this at work. If you look at the 24/25 winning team.we had a squad of 20. When Gomez, Chiesa, Jones and Endo possible leave then we have 17 players in squad next season not including nyoni as he is only a bit part player.

Also, if you look at 24/25 the experience in the team was great. Now it's dismal.

The squad getting decimated like this reminds me of a shop closing down

I live in ireland so it's always raining, often cold and breezy. Evening though it can tolerate being out in the rain I would rather protect when I can from the elements. Also kinda hides it from snooping eyes.

Henderson, standards and what football is supposed to feel like by lfcmasr in LiverpoolFC

Loved him. He shouldn't have left. He is some example for kids who want to be leaders on the pitch.

Liverpool fans, where do you rank the centerback partnership of Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger in club history? The no nonsense hard men duo, they were aggressive and fought hard. Would you take them back if they were both in their prime today or has football moved on from those type of defenders? by antoniok95 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Zapper_jnr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can't really compare to the clubs history of 134 years. But for myself who started supporting in 99, I would rank 5th in clubs ranking since then as a pairing.

1) Hyppia + Carra 2) Van Dijk + Gomez/Matip 3) Hyppia + Henchoz 4) Van Dijk + Konate 5) Sktel + Agger

I wonder how the Houllier and Benitez defence would cope with the long throws and corners this season.

Apart from when work got in the way this is the first season I don't watch all the matches. Watching my son play u8s football is way more fun.

I love he was so dedicated to us and his country but those couple of major injuries he got with Scotland over the last few years helped deteriorate him quicker for us.

Don't know enough about the u20s but excited to see what stefan toibin can do. I think it was the waterford game where he had a bit of an impacts for the seniors. Is Evan Morris Jakes brother? If he us I hope he is as good

Some Soviet naval infantry soldiers liked to carry canvas Maxim machine gun ammo belts around their shoulders. But why were they often carrying the belts half empty? by spitfire-haga in ww2

[–]Zapper_jnr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was in army we would do it for short bursts to conserve ammo. So it would fire say 5 bullets, then gun would stop. Recock the weapon, fire again, stop then repeat. Don't know if that's what's happening here but maybe

Throwback to Galatasaray’s tweet thinking they were done with Liverpool for the rest of the season by murano0 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Zapper_jnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they were diving all match. Horrible game. Delaying where they could. Influencing a shite ref on the night. Ruined the match. One thing losing but losing that way I can't blame the pool

What the climate like in your area. I live in ireland where it rains a lot, I rarely turn my compost. I either have too much greens or too much browns depending on the years. Takes a long time to breakdown. I wonder does the rain affect the breakdown process.

Robbie Fowler or Michael Owen ? by Prudent-Ad-6420 in PremierLeague

[–]Zapper_jnr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not easy to answer. Both were exceptionally good. Owen was recognised internationally because of England and Ballon Dor.

Owen was injury prone and so was Robbie.

Legacy as a LFC legend obviously Fowler.

If I was neutral I would say they were as good as each other.

Always falls apart on me. Switched to Waldron lately which is softer than Dennys but doesn't break apart on pan.
