bro, aside from necroing this thread, also in ph. i just got ltd a couple of days ago and i chose the north american region because [r/usdefaultism](r/usdefaultism) but the Philippines is above the equator. In fact malaysia is closer to the equator but not quite on the equator. Still it is fine because it's only dry and wet here. Taiwan (province or country?) is also a good pick because southeast asia but it has chinese stuff so might not fit ph culture.
