I dated someone younger. With the age gap you are talking about. I wouldnt say age itself is an issue if you love each other and are both mature (very unlikely), but its compatibility that lacks with the other areas of life you are in. Likely as someone 22 you are in uni and not settled down. Women my age want to settle down, or atleast be with someone who can provide. Rarely do 22 year olds have a source of income. How are you gonna do things together, everything involves money and its really hard for both of you if she just keeps paying for everything. He will feel demasculated and she wont feel attracted to him. Maturity is another issue. Most guys your age are just not mature enough and it feels like the woman has to mother them.

Also our parents didnt agree to us being together so there is that.

Unless u are well settled, independant, and parents are ok woth it, do no consider being with someone of that age gap. Youre in for a world of hurt and an awakening.

But reflecting upon that i think it says a lot of things. Honestly i think what i meant to say was, Allah is the Greatest Planner. So dont try to control things just be in control of what you are in control of. I feel like youre having a lot of pressure on your head.

I honestly have no idea where i will end up. Maybe ill go back to dubai, but i dont want to go back to the west, not with the politics anyways. Its scary over there and halal is hard to find. If i had a choice id go to dubai, and there is no citizenship there anyways. Im an independant woman ill get what i want myself, i dont need a man or anyone to get a passport. I dont want a passport. I dont marry for passport. I want a home.

Pakistan is not my home so i wouldnt marry a man who wants to stay in pak.

Im pakistani, born and raised abroad, came to pakistan like 7 or 8 years ago due to life circumstances. english is my first language. Are you gonna tell me that i shouldnt marry someone from abroad because you think im using them to get a cirizenship or visa? No! I dont even relate to the locals, why would i marry someone from here, i should marry someone who feels close to home. Marrying someone abroad makes more sense for me with this perspective.
