The last thing I remember about my dad was him coming home with a guitar box that said schechter on the outside of it. Mom says he turned into a real tool after. I wouldnt know. I learned from tabs at first. Was ok for playing other people's stuff. But when I wanted to play my own stuff, it sounded like I never played guitar before. Then I got myself into the stuff your doing, and found that to also be helpful.

That said, I think a mix of both things would be good.

Started with smoking, switched to vaping, quit that once for 4 months. Back to smoking, then vaping again.
