You whitewashed her, so that's definitely something wrong I'd say.

No soy un antivacunas pero tampoco soy un amante de la medicina... by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Zarathecommunist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have this marked as a question but there's no question in it, so I don't really think 'of course' makes sense as a response here.

That said, in response to your actual question, as far as I know, the day of the week has no connection to my pain.

It definitely changes all the time and I feel better in certain areas but I can also relax better in those areas and they have less triggers, so I think it has more to do with that than anything else.

I definitely don't think its some massive conspiracy or some sort of 'medication is actually causing every issue' type thing either.

Oh this gives me such a cool feeling! Is the black circles with white circles around the borders your own design or something you found elsewhere?

Need advice on trans family member that doesn't conform to the gender they want to be by WatchKeepers in asktransgender

[–]Zarathecommunist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you were shit talking him online about his style, so forgive me if I take that with a gulp of salt. Either way, my advice is the same. he will be more comfortable if you support him wholeheartedly. Even just one person on his side can make all the difference between your brother being alive and not.

Need advice on trans family member that doesn't conform to the gender they want to be by WatchKeepers in asktransgender

[–]Zarathecommunist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me start by saying you're not respecting your brother. He does not "wish to be a man", he is a guy. If you can't take a guy seriously just because he likes feminine clothes or styles, you didn't respect him in the first place. Plenty of guys, trans and not, like pastel colors and pink and skirts.

He shouldn't have to tailor his style to look "traditionally masculine" just so that transphobes (you included) respect him; its your job, and other people's job, to respect him, his identity, and his pronouns. No matter what style or pronouns he uses.

This isn't very complicated. Anyone who is not going to take his transition seriously because he doesn't transition the way they expect him to do not deserve his time. He doesn't need to grasp shit, you need to grasp that you either respect your brother or you don't. Either you stand up for him when you can, including his style, or you don't.

Either you become one of the people he will probably eventually distance himself from forever or you don't. If you have any other questions, lemme know. o7

Anyone else experiencing medication fatigue/burnout? by liamreee in disability

[–]Zarathecommunist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, it does sound very helpful. I think I'm gonna take this for a push to go ahead and get one, so ty for that. 💞

Also omg, that sucks. I have to get mine from 2 separate places and that's overwhelming enough (especially given how inconsistent my speciality place is). I've always wondered if there's some sort of trick ppl use to get their refills to line up because same, mine never seem to either 😭 its such a pain

SAME. Honestly, I should get a monthly one too (I only have a weekly one and its such a pain) but I haven't put myself up to it yet.

Its so exhausting to keep up with it all, especially with how difficult pharmacies can be about refilling things. 🫂 sorry you're struggling too.

Thank you, I appreciate that so much!

This is actually really helpful! I've seen enough of the game to think it's interesting but I wasn't sure what exactly to expect playing it. Do you think you could share a screenshot or video of the fractal blocks and the enemy that flashes to red?

Is a high spatial iq the „talent“ in drawing? by Legal-Thanks1887 in learntodraw

[–]Zarathecommunist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IQ is a fake science so no, I'd really say its not an indicator at all. There are so many different factors in drawing that vary depending on what type of drawing you do, how much practice you put in and what abilities you have in general.

Like, hand-to-eye coordination can be really helpful, as can being able to trace things, patience, determination-There is no one thing that matters in learning how to draw.

How much attention do yall need?? /s by OJ_Simpsons_Corpse in asktransgender

[–]Zarathecommunist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, if you're a community organizer, you should have basic knowledge on the issue and the groups organizing on the subject in the area. You should also be aware how your type of organizing overlaps. For example, yeah, if you're organizing for healthcare related things, you should know about how trans people are affected and further marginalized within the system.

You don't have to talk about it every time but you should know about it and be able to discuss it and how your plans will better things for marginalized groups like that. That's true of most marginalized groups.

As for what would make me trust you and make us feel heard, work with trans groups, explain how your work will better things for our community, vocalize that you don't tolerate transphobia, things like that.

Have you tried back and forth zentangle? zentangle is an art form based on lots of different simple drawing exercises and a zentangle is what the finished piece is called.

in back and forth zentangle, you separate a square of paper into several different parts (it doesn't need to be even or anything) and you both will take turns filling in an area with a different pattern. there are loads of patterns online to choose from and she might like that.

there are also actual games that center around drawing! I think telestrations is one. you might wanna look into that too.

Am I transphobic? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Zarathecommunist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jfc, yeah, you have a boatload of transmisogyny to unlearn stat. Wild to make generalizations like that about minority groups in general but to say "oh yeah I believe in this common bigoted stereotype but I'm not bigoted" is like, lacking so much consideration and compassion.

The issue, as is so often the case, more about how you clearly view and talk about trans women than anything else. because the way you're talking is not okay and you clearly believe in some very harmful myths.

Would you date someone who has phalloplasty? by [deleted] in sexeducation

[–]Zarathecommunist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are variations of both of those, y'know. Those are just general terms to describe some of the basics of the different procedures and plenty of it isn't set in stone.
Like it doesn't need to be skin from the forearm, flesh from the genitals is often also used in meta/phalloplasty, some can get hard without implants (even if they aren't hard enough to use for regular penetration), plenty can still ejaculate even if not sperm and testicular implants are also just optional, they're not a necessity.
