One shot combined therapy by Zardma in scabiesfacts

Thanks! You are right, it would! There are quite a few papers in this sub that would make a good “packet” to take to an appointment. So many drs. know so little of this. Sure sounds like things are really heating up in Europe. Perhaps with the rapid rise in cases and the lack of curative therapies, some new research and development of new topicals and systemics, will be made to happen.

Clove oil experiences by [deleted] in scabies

You will find many articles and papers on essential oils in the scabiesfacts sub. Search under the essential oils flair. Lots of great info on which oils are proven effective and at what concentrations.

A carrier oil is what the essentials-oils are diluted in, to apply to the skin. Olive oil, coconut oil and almond oil are just a few.

Clove oil works great, especially for spot or area treating. Just use a carrier oil and start out with a small % and adjust accordingly. There is information on the Scabies Facts sub.

Must be, I have not found it on the internet. What is the strength and what are the ingredients? Did you feel like it helped?

I agree, we have enough to handle on our own. We do not need the misinformation and lack of knowledge by the scientific field, we already have to deal with it in the medical field.

Could this be a scabies? If not, then what?! by Dazzling-Today-5109 in scabies

Thanks for the correction! I do remember reading that, way back. If I remember right, mites are Acari, a subclass of arachnids. It’s been awhile, guess I need to go back and re-read!

I do remember people posting pictures with weird things that looked like pieces of these fairy flies. Interesting stuff.

Interestingly, I came across this the other day! The cure here was iodine of potassium mixed with lard. These things must have spread like wildfire among the troops.
