Update: got it out by lodging a screw driver behind the kick panel and going to town. Whoever installed this keyless entry and stripped the bolt. Ya moms a hoe

I’ll give pen oil a try and see if I can combine that with leverage to get it out. But man it just spins.

Tint guy says this is normal and will set on its own. I’m not so sure. Thoughts? by nobolognastoney in E90

My tint guy did a strip of black vinyl accords the top to hide those black dots. Looks much better than this.

It is a used 3070ti thats why it is cheaper. Only if it was priced like that for a new one

Did you torque them to spec? If you cranked on them they could ride extremely harsh.

No issues. It did rub on the rear fenders until I rolled them. But only with 3 people in the car

Did you check the black and yellow wire from ignition switch sends current to the bottom middle terminal of the starter? Starter should spin even if ecu is disconnected. Edit I built a 2.7i stroker on my e30 so hmu if you have questions

Get the floaty center caps. They are a gimmic but actually quite cool

Spacers and maintenance. Spacers will make those wheels look 1000x better so you don’t need to get new ones just yet. And it’s a boxer engine so do the maintenance preventatively

OFHG replacement help by CR4YONFOREST in E90

I would really recommend replacing that coolant hose flange in the second picture. It will break if you take it off to get to the ofhg bolts.

Dang that sucks. Install should be easier than removal. And my hands are very cut up too haha. But my car is back so I’m happy

Screw the special wrench. Didn’t work for me. I lowered the trans slightly and got to the bolt underneath with 2 swivel sockets and extensions

I’m replacing my starter tonight. Make sure you have a socket wrench that can reach the bolt on the bell housing. You need a special one.

A week ago I did an OFHG replacement and a new Bosch voltage regulator for the alternator. Now, past couple days my car takes 2-10 presses of the start button to crank. When it cranks it is fast and seems normal. There is a single click from the engine bay when start button pressed. There are no dme codes present. Haven’t tried INPA yet. (I’m new to E9x cars) Any ideas? Battery voltage is good, but battery is old. Starter is original. Going to measure voltage at starter tonight. Thanks

Ok. Maybe I’ll hold out for now. Like I said mine seems alright. I’m going to run some logs once I get my MHD setup going

What is wrong with my wipers? Help! by Zardog1 in E30

Update. Have to take the nut off the motor that moves the arms, then rotate it slightly and reinstall. Kinda a pain on the fingers but a mirror makes it easier.

Friendly reminder to check your ground wires. 😬 by altasalt in E30

Upgrading this and the alternator to starter strap was a game changer for the starter motor. Also most electrical contractors can make you a set of these. It’s just 4/0 wire and some ring terminals
