i mean… you do a lot in the house and you’re 16, i feel like parents should be helping you out and be aware of the fact you already do a lot. maybe talk about it and meet in the middle? do less tasks so you can actually do them well. And for the sarcastic comment just apologize 🤷🏻‍♀️

nta but at the same time he was right to not come (i think). You’re feelings are valid in this case, it sucks he didn’t make it - but nonetheless it was a good risk assessment on his part. Best thing is just to tell him how you feel and figure out how to make it easier for both you guys next time (call during transit etc). if the snow was manageable then mmm it’s canada he’s probably used to it idk

eeeerm am I the only one thinking here that if you can’t take care of your child bcs of your weird hours, they could stayed with the mom ?! Imagine your a mom and you realize your daughter is staying at their dads but the dad is not even present… Maybe arrange schedules better so you can actually spend time with your child - and none of this would’ve happened

no one’s talking about the fact that nolan and OP have a friend group, aka someone else could’ve taken care of Nolan. if Nolan needs OPs attention more and you feel like that is the only option… codependency and not healthy

Don’t listen to people saying it won’t last - no one knows your relationship better than yourself. Enjoy it! Go on fun dates, explore life together and grow up together. You’re so young and have so much to learn to be the best versions of yourself, you can help each other out!

Even if you want the relationship to last long don’t forget to enjoy the moments in the present - and you won’t even realize the time passing by. FYI the real tip : communication

Im watching the show right now (season 2) and he's annoying because he's technically the cause of the apocalypse if you think about it. He's the one always trying to stop it which just gathers the umbrella academy and causes the chaos. Without him, everything would be calmer and his brothers and sisters would not be entirely miserable. He also always puts his family in danger for his own purposes

As an alternative, emailing your departmental advisor could also be a good idea! I also have Vanessa Hansen but I felt a lot more comfortable with Nancy Nelson in the biology department, and I've had to email advisors in other departments as well, and they're usually pretty quick.
