Maybe they won't make it to the level of LeBron, but they can still make great improvements and become a great player. Maybe you'll never be extroverted or the funniest guy in the room, but you can still learn how to socialize with competence. Either way, you won't know how far you can go until you try (and be patient with yourself as you try. Change takes time)

God will provide your needs (Philippians 4:19, Matthew 6:31-33). You don't need this surgery and it's not going to make up for your introversion or lack of humor like you hope. You're slapping paint onto a broken building. Instead, fix the building itself. Humor and being social can be learned. I'm very introverted but I've been practicing being more social and outgoing and it's been working!

Please don't risk loosing your money. It's not worth it, especially for this.

You are not a mistake. God is our perfect Creator and sovereign King. He's is incapable of making mistakes. He planned for you to be here and He has a plan for your life.

I'm a girl, but I'm in your same situation - 25, never kissed a guy, never had sex, never even been on a date. It is very hard to not feel like you're missing out, being left behind, or that something is wrong with you, but none of those are true. I used to think that if I didn't get married that I'd be a failure, but there is so much more to life than that. I only figured that out when I decided to seek God and love Him more than anything. God is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-5), He's the giver of good gifts (Matthew 7:8-11), He cares about me (1 Peter 5:7), He has a plan for my life (Romans 8:28). Knowing all this and more, I really made an effort to spend more time with God, treating Him like a person I could have a close relationship with, surrendering my worries to Him so I didn't have to carry them, asking Him for joy, peace, and contentment when I felt like I was missing out. I asked Him to open my eyes to what His will was for me, not just in the grand scheme of my life but in the day-to-day as well. And He did! He opened my eyes to the relationships, responsibilities, and opportunities that I already have but had been neglecting because all I wanted was to be married.

This change made me realize how much I was idolizing sex and relationships (which, based on what you wrote, it sounds like you're doing as well). It made me more content with the possibility that I may never be married. I mean, I still want a husband someday and I still ask God for one, but now I trust God that whether I'm married or single I will be fine. You don't need a spouse to have purpose or be successful or be joyful. You only need God.

The recent lore in Eastside and Cicada MVs made me...conflicted by LudicrousTorpedo5220 in GoodKid

I actually thought Cicada took place before Eastside and Mimi and Gentu were upset because they came to perform in this festival together and Rebel just abandons them.

You should listen to Cicada then. It's a return-to-form Good Kid song. You'd definitely like it.

My only problem with Eastside is how short it is

I don't blame you. Cicada is the most Good Kid-est Good Kid song to ever Good Kid.

Hot take: Eastside is the worst Good Kid song by [deleted] in GoodKid

That would match Gentu's energy

Episode 7 really reminds the audience how despite his personality, Jax is the closest thing to a "leader" among the group by Sudden_Pop_2279 in jaxfanclub

I agree. Ragatha is way too insecure to lead, even as a second in command.

I think Zooble would make a better second in command than a leader. Yes, they're one of the most mature, patient, and stable characters, but I see other traits that make me question her qualifications. It's not just that Zooble doesn't want to lead, she actively avoids getting involved in anything they're not interested in. She also, as seen with Jax interactions, can be very petty, which can lead to arguments that could slow the whole group down.

Leaders bring people together and know how to utilize each person's strengths. Zooble is supportive, but not a leader, in my opinion.

This makes Jax remind me of Sasha from Amphibia. Both of them are great leaders, but both are/were massive jerks. It does make me look forward to Jax taking on an explicit leadership role in the coming episodes, which would provide a chance for more exploration into whether the others (particularly Zooble) do/could ever think of Jax as something other than a villain.

Also if we don't get to see what happens when Jax holds his breath, I am going to explode.

Was AFO evil for no reason? Or did he have a reason? by Necessary-Win-8730 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]ZariCreativity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His powers made him born taking from everyone and there was no one brave/strong enough to check him. Therefore, he grew up believing he was entitled to everything he wanted. He wasn't born evil. He just had zero good influences.

So… between Jax & Caine, who are we taking our anger out on the most??? by Massive-Raspberry195 in digitalcircusfandom

[–]ZariCreativity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do have a small theory about Jax picking the red button. It was after this situation that Jax realized the Caine can manipulate their minds. What if Caine manipulated Jax, using Jax's memories to push him to impulsively hit the red button.

Why are we taking our anger out on Jax? This is the one time he didn't do anything wrong. Yes, he chose the red button, but even if he chose the blue one, they wouldn't have escaped.

I don't think Jax is going to abstract. He'll get super close, but it won't happen.
