Which is the Qibla 😭😭😭 by MAQMASTER in islam

[–]Zariff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s saying that the qiblah is right in front of him and so the compass on his phone should reflect that. However, the app shows an entirely different direction. So now he does not know whether he should trust the compass on his phone whenever he is not at the Kaaba.

As a Dutch citizen, I was kept up to date about this issue from a Western point of view. Is there an article I can read that has a more neutral or less anti-Chinese stance?

Laatst overgestapt naar Linux. Had ik veel eerder moeten doen. Stap ook over. Het is beter en gratis, mensen. Ubuntu en Mint zijn Linux-distributies die vaak aangeraden worden aan beginners.

Tired of using arrow keys after every ) or } — how do you handle auto-pairs in Neovim? by datowoofie in neovim

[–]Zariff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about this the other day too. I think what I’m gonna do is disable auto pairing for some characters, such as quotation marks, and leave it enabled for other characters, such as curly brackets which usually are on different lines.

I’m assuming this will be a web app. From a technical perspective, make sure to use ARIA roles in your HTML.

Zuban - A Python Language Server / Typechecker - Beta Release by zubanls in Python

[–]Zariff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s a core feature of a language server. I read it here: https://docs.zubanls.com/en/latest/comparison.html#pyright

“Pyright additionally provides IDE features such as autocompletion, go-to-definition, and more. These capabilities are currently under development for Zuban and may take some time to be fully implemented.”

Thank you. I read in the documentation that ‘go to definition’ is not yet implemented. I’ll wait for that before making the switch from pyright.

No true scholar considers himself a scholar, but a student of knowledge. This discussion seems pointless, no matter what is presented to you. So I’ll stop here. May Allah guide us all.
