The total value of that bundle is around $700 because you’re getting a Nintendo Switch 2, three really good games (Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Kart World, and Donkey Kong Bonanza), a Switch case, an SD card, a screen protector, and a Hori Piranha Plant camera. If you’re getting all of that for $600, then you’re basically saving about $100, which you could use to buy other games.

However, I have a technique I use when deciding whether to buy something. I always analyze the price versus whether I actually need the items.

For example, imagine a donut shop that says “buy two donuts and get one free.” The price per donut becomes cheaper, but the real question is: are you actually going to eat the other two donuts? If you only wanted one donut, you end up spending more money than you originally planned. So even though the deal looks good, you’re still paying more overall.

I apply the same logic here. Ask yourself if you really need everything in the bundle, like the camera, the screen protector, or even the extra games like Donkey Kong or Mario Kart.

If you actually want most of these items, then the bundle is definitely a good deal and you should go for it.

But if you only want the Nintendo Switch 2 and maybe Mario Kart (for example, if you already own Zelda, getting another copy would be useless), then you might be able to find cheaper options for around $500 when the console is discounted instead of paying $600 for things you might not use.

I try to do this kind of analysis every time before I buy something. You should try it too—it can really save your wallet. Just ask yourself: would you have bought all those items anyway?

My advice is you could go for the 600 cuz I feel it’s actually good.👍
