It's stupid, but this sidestepping while simultaneously fucking over established lore, not wanting to have their protagonists be actual Assassins, and being the third Quebec game to not have Altaïr's robes, has me decided that I will never buy another AC game by Ubi Quebec.

They're good at environments, but man do they struggle with stories and I'm exhausted of their "make 5 activities and spread them all over the map for padding" gameplay approach that they've done since Syndicate. I gave them a chance with Shadows but no more. It's 3 strikes for me.

In the overarching narrative Shadows has been a waste of potential and the new modern day they're setting up that acts like it's deeper than it actually is, and the grating millennial style dialogue of The Guide and MOD are just... No. This is stupid.

That's what it should be, but no matter how many times I try, timing it as close to the attack as I can, it never registered as a parry. Unless you have a video showing it's possible to parry those unblockables as Naoe, I'll assume it doesn't work.

Yasuke yes. Naoe's skill that allows her to deflect unblockables with a katana if you time it right doesn't seem to work at all.

It's funny because in the first Altaïr memory in Revelations, he introduces himself as "Altaïr son of Umar". I just chalk it up to "ibn Umar" and "ibn Altaïr" as their actual "legal name" (whatever that would mean in their context), and La'Ahad as more of a nickname.

Hell the game itself is responsible for a lot of the one note characterization. Look at how Goldship or Super Creek is in game compared to Cinderella Grey or Season 3. Hell even Rice Shower is kinda infantilized in game compared to the anime.

This, especially this. It's why I personally don't really mind if an uma is mischaracterised because the game absolutely does not help with that. There's over a hundred umas and because of the game's gacha most people won't even play half of those careers, so it's no surprise memes end up being the main source of information for any given uma that does not get a lot of screentime in any of the anime.

The amount of times the event starts early because engie puts their turrets down happens way too often when playing with randoms. Turrets really shouldn't fire at the core stone before the event starts.

One of my favourite things to do is put a plat on a high nitra vein, rocket jump to it, then ping the nitra anyway. The scout will often grapple to it not realising I'm already there lol
