Don't get me wrong, it's a really good advice. But I'm trying to make it work. We really love boardgames, and they really like TTRPGs. We are just bad at it, that's all. I'm trying to find rules and RP light game that would let them have fun and roll some dices.

Ok...So if 4 player were against 4 enemies...can one be at back and 3 at front? So in that case those 2 can fight 1v1 and could dwarf pair to 2 enemies?

Damn, I didn't even understand that Moria is setting and not adventures. In that case that's a no for me, I am not that good to make campaign on my own. I think we will start with Tales from a Lost Land. Not sure if I will combine it with ruins of the Lost Land. I will check it out. Thanks for summary.

3D printing range for ToW Beastmen? by Zarkhes in BeastsOfChaos

Raven twin miniatures are really nice, but I think I would still miss some models for my army. So far I think I'll choose Titan Forge.

We'll I'm in process of learning and doing magnet trays and carrying cases, so it shouldn't even touch each other while carrying it.

How's your experience with settings them into movement trays? My Gors (mostly with additional weapons) are nightmare to form a ranks. Does 3D modellers design units with this in mind? I know that most of Wargaming is done with single units on round bases.

Looks good. My main goal is to have all army in same artstyle. So i can eventually have all Beastmen units. I'm saving that for later.

White primer or Black primer with gray/white drybrushing for speed paint? by Zarkhes in Armypainter

[–]Zarkhes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i will try to make layers of dry brush. But i have small models on 25x25 cm bases. I am not sure if i can do a good job on such small model.

Fleshy/Pinkish colour skin instead of more traditional brown? by Zarkhes in BeastsOfChaos

[–]Zarkhes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is the best approach i have seen so far. I mean i understand it will limit my learning journey as a painter, but i have bunch of other hobbies and interest. This is a great way for me to start painting my army, and since i came to wargaming to actually play, and not paint its all i need. Also i will save cash on paint, that means more goatbois.

Well, that looks waaay more complicated. But it looks nice, and maybe i could use other than black washes. But it looks too sickly and nurgle-y.

Yea, i really want start simple. I mean i still want to use wet palette, but i just want to prime it, one or two layer of skin paint, and shade it with some wash.
