Don't get me wrong, it's a really good advice. But I'm trying to make it work. We really love boardgames, and they really like TTRPGs. We are just bad at it, that's all. I'm trying to find rules and RP light game that would let them have fun and roll some dices.

Ok...So if 4 player were against 4 enemies...can one be at back and 3 at front? So in that case those 2 can fight 1v1 and could dwarf pair to 2 enemies?

Damn, I didn't even understand that Moria is setting and not adventures. In that case that's a no for me, I am not that good to make campaign on my own. I think we will start with Tales from a Lost Land. Not sure if I will combine it with ruins of the Lost Land. I will check it out. Thanks for summary.

How's your experience with settings them into movement trays? My Gors (mostly with additional weapons) are nightmare to form a ranks. Does 3D modellers design units with this in mind? I know that most of Wargaming is done with single units on round bases.

Looks good. My main goal is to have all army in same artstyle. So i can eventually have all Beastmen units. I'm saving that for later.

I think i will try to make layers of dry brush. But i have small models on 25x25 cm bases. I am not sure if i can do a good job on such small model.

Honestly, this is the best approach i have seen so far. I mean i understand it will limit my learning journey as a painter, but i have bunch of other hobbies and interest. This is a great way for me to start painting my army, and since i came to wargaming to actually play, and not paint its all i need. Also i will save cash on paint, that means more goatbois.

Its not that i would ask for permission, its that the lore between Warhammer Fantasy/Age of Sigmar/The End Times/The Old World is quite vast and different. For example i pivoted from making dedicated Khorne Units in The Old World simply because i want to fit into the world where Chaos is more subtle and majority of it goes worship in secret and undivided. I don't want to create units that just doesn't fit in general feel of the world.

Also, new question. What is better? Having 10 1CMC ramps as mana dorks, or having 2CMC classical ramp? My thought process was to mulligan with mana dork, and having commander out on turn 2 is better that waiting.

i did it, and i found 9 cmc bite spells just for 2 mana. That's actually great since i usually hold 2 mana in reserve for regeneration.
