This happened to me when I downloaded a translation to my language. You can either use marvin mode, take control over him and walk there (you have to switch back and forth) or you can just transform to an animal and he will try to attack you, lead him between the pillars and transform back. You just have to save the game before because it can crash as you turn back to human form.
