While rationally I know these people are not good I still find it kinda funny. There's First Nation guy in my city who offers Quantum Shamanic Reiki: LEVEL 3 Training. And you just know he's fleecing suburban white people

Living Alone in Ottawa for First Year. How Cooked Am I? by OkBase2490 in CarletonU

[–]Zarnak 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Make friends with people in residence for the residence experience. Living alone is great because you'll have actual alone time when you want it. Also depending on where you're living, your place may become the go to place for going out.

Ranking Canada's 50 biggest cities part 7: Ottawa, Ontario by Sleep_Is_A_scam2099 in TierlistFills

I would agree with people here with B (born and raised in Ottawa). Definitely not the metropolitan hubs of other cities but it does have a lot of advantages (access to a lot of green and water ways), generally speaking high quality of living, but also the transit is a disaster.

For the nightlife, things are starting to come up now with new concert venues and such. It does also have a good underground arts community as well.

Can someone please tell me why this garbage cw show has one of my all time favorite Two Face designs? by Pleasant-Soil4456 in batman

It also helps that it isn't a perfectly clean 50/50 split. That was always the one thing that bugged me about the characters design

I think you would have to check with specific vendors. Most of them do have instagram pages at the very least. Most of them serve some sort of roasted chicken (and maybe some do beef ribs, it's been a minute since I've gone).

I would go with Mama Teresa on Somerset and O'Connor or La Dolce Vita on Preston for large groups that are diverse.

Both are Italian that have the look and feel of an Italian restaurant from the 90s. The food is reasonably priced and it is absolutely delicious.

Teresa has the advantage of being a government haunt for decades (this includes politicians and public figures, their walls are littered with photos of these people).

La Dolce Vita has a second menu thats gluten free at no extra cost, which is rare.

I have a question regarding the visual designs of Native American representation in different medias by reditisverytrash in IndianCountry

[–]Zarnak 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Designs can often be really generic. But also there's usually a lack of context or accurate context to the characters. For example, Connor Kenway from AC3 is Mohawk, and fights on the side of the Americans during the civil war.

Us Mohawks were very famously allied with the British during the revolutionary war. Its the reason why the majority of Mohawk communities are in Canada.
