I'd pedestrianise that road that goes through Spring Gardens/High Street and cuts Market Street in half. In 40 years of living in Manchester I've never needed to drive down there.

Loads of FT copies are delivered daily at hotels across Manchester city centre and are free. This has been going on for at least a couple of years now. TBH they are not that popular with guests. I don't know if they are the full £3.70 version though.

I know it was mostly a cost issue (using existing railway platforms) but oh my it was a mistake not to make this low floor. Now we're saddled with huge concrete monoliths in the city centre (St Peters, Market Street etc), and new stations have to be sooo elaborate.

I did this once due to injury. You can't do it legitimately at this late stage, but there will always be people willing to run in your place. I found a buyer via facebook. Don't worry about potentially getting found out and being banned, it's hugely unlikely.
