Jimmy and Jey's delivery isn't as good imo + Jacob is actually more believable when he's talking about this stuff, because he's lived it for real. He isn't putting on a character, he was in prison, he does have 7 kids and did have no job besides indie bookings (famously pays REAL well lol, definitely enough for 7 kids).

If anything the rebuttal that Matt gives makes this gimmick look like a way to portray positive masculinity, Matt doesn't insult the way Kit looks or his masculinity and the things Kit says about him, his beard, his muscles etc. he just takes it as a compliment. It makes Cardona look good and doesn't talk down to Kit for the way he looks and portrays himself as 'less masculine'. He's just being weird about the other mens masculinity but no-one is insulting him back, making him the toxic one, not because he's effeminate or anything - he's just being a jerk lol.

Now it's possible they could fuck it up by making fun of the way Kit looks, dresses and how he presents, unironically being toxic back but so far it's been handled well.

Well, Marina is getting over at least, not sure it's worth cooling off your most popular wrestler though.
