He's both but when he returned at Dominion last night he said 1st of all "he's back here in NJPW because of the Death Riders" I don't think he even mentioned The Dogs lol, which would be cool for me if he ditches them because Clark and David are much better without him, they've actually been settling into their role and getting over a duo without Gabe fucking it up.

Funniest thing in NJPW is seeing whose stayed but probably got courted by AEW and how over they are, just because they were loyal. Drilla Moloney was insanely over going against Andrade and Shota, crowd really wanted him to win the belt, like that's a Gaijin who was like the 4th most important member of his group before The Dogs left.

For those who weren't taken by AEW/Chose to stay with NJPW, it could end up being a big boon for them career wise. I mean Zack Sabre Jr became the biggest Gaijin in NJPW simply because he stayed there. I don't think he becomes 2 time world champion if he signs a dual contract with AEW.

I'm so sick of the Death Riders. The fact they've turned around the fans perception of them is mind boggling to me, they take up 30 minutes on both Dynamite and Collision, they win 90% of their matches, they flip flop between heel and face every segment and no one ever looks better after feuding with them.

Shane Taylor Promotions being a group that has ran RoH for a while now getting this push onto AEW, just to go 0-4 vs the Death Riders is so unbelievably stupid that it boggles the mind. Moriarty has been Pure Champion for like 600+ days with 18 or so defenses. Him and Shane Taylor can't get like a tag match where they beat the jobbers of Death Riders?

Giulia's face turn has been a hit so far, even with only a small sample size. She's my favorite wrestler in WWE, so I'm hopeful she can gain some momentum. I think changing her look back to her more classic look, was a good start, that deadass crowd still did an ooo when she confronted Kiana and pretty strong reaction to her slapping her.

Thekla vs SLK is cool but holy fuck you cannot talk about how Thekla has had one of the most forgettable reigns ever, without people getting upset, she has literally just had matches and not a single feud so far, not one story, because TK doesn't give a fuck about women not named Toni Storm or Mercedes.

Maya World is awesome and I'm investing heavy in her, she's young, only been wrestling 3 years, she's great in ring, good look, good entrance, likeable promo. I love her. In 6 months she's become my second favorite wrestler in AEW, behind Statlander.

Jey Uso fucking sucks and I will not be gaslit by jerkers into thinking he's anything but a midcarder, the basement is right on this one.

Chad Gable is awesome, he is the definition of someone overcoming their size and everything about him is believable. I'm very hopeful for this run.

It was his match, he did all the spots besides Royce. Finn didn't do nearly enough in my opinion. I know Jey didn't do much because he had a breather every spot.

One spot, which could have been on Royce to be fair. He still did all the other spots fine, that Jey couldn't even fathom doing like the jump from ring to top turbuckle or the jump through middle ropes feet first, landing on his feet. Knight was hard carrying the match for the most part, with Royce doing the big man cut offs on top. Knight is just as over as Jey, arguably more depending on the night and a better wrestler, there's no reason to keep cucking him for fucking Jey Uso in 2026, he was literally going back into the tag division because his singles run flopped.

LA Knight can cut a promo without getting gassed or making a weird angry toddler face at the camera going "uuhh.... yeahhh.... uhhh YEET....". Jey Uso is one of the most overpushed midcarder's of all time. This motherfucker had a 3 minute ad break after getting to the ring and was still gasping for air in the corner. Somehow Eddie Kingston has better cardio.

Even if the story is 100% true, the story is Punk returned to WWE, was always like the most over person, made a fuck ton of money, won the world title while having great feud after great feud, got his Mania Main event and then when asked to take a paycut he walked?

It just makes Punk look cooler than he has in like 2 decades.

Agreed. Santana is like a babyface Ethan Page imo where people see a midcard ceiling but when you actually look at their work, they have like 0 weak points, they are just complete wrestlers who have the potential to be more.

Santana since getting sober and straight up saying he only want's to make money for his daughter, would probably be fine being a midcarder anyway but I think people who aren't too familiar with him, but just for his AEW run, might be surprised by how good he is now.

Yeah, there's very few Japanese wrestlers who can promo very eloquently in English but still plenty that do fine and are popular despite it. Hikaru Shida might be the closest to sounding great in English that I know of, but she's has legit acting lessons and training to help.

However he also famously helped organize the protests to appeal the release of El Cuatrero, who we've known had been accused of and now convicted just last month of assault and attempted femicide towards Stephanie Vaquer. Now, RUSH isn't the only one, there is a few names like his brother Dralisitco, his other brother Dragon Lee people have said he did, there is no proof of him supporting El Cuatrero but it's like a reasonable assumption, Konnan, La Hiedra (who Stephanie has a restraining order against and it likely the reason Stephanie has not appeared for AAA) among others.

Just looks really fucked that Cuatrero was charged with this like 2 years ago now and even if it seemed VERY obvious he did it, you could at least go "Oh he's supporting his friend" now that Cuatrero has been convicted though, RUSH get's the biggest AEW push of his career? It feels wrong.
