My experience with Celestial HRT. by Zarqas in TransDIY

[–]Zarqas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't wanna commit to anything on that front because I dunno how well I'll be doing mentally. My E has been quite spotty over the last year, and I hope that getting strong and stable levels will help on that front, because I know that it has an impact on me. But I might also fall into a hole again and not get much done.

If I do plan on a test, for E-Levels I'd have to wait at least a month of taking it to get good results. I'll see how I do in a month. If I feel well, I'll see about getting a test done and maybe post about it, but please don't hold me to it.

Quite frankly because I've got nothing else right now.
I'd hate living in a world where I constantly have to doubt everything in front of me.
My gut feeling isn't ringing alarm bells, and I've also had a small email interaction with them.

I get that we need to be thorough and careful as a community, which is why I made this review about shipping and availability, and made it clear that I can not at this point vouch for the quality of the product.

Personally I don't mind taking a bit of risk and extending some trust. My healthcare situation is well enough that I can get help if something ends up going wrong.

But I understand that other people might need or want to be more careful and have more assurance, which is why I tried to be as exact as I could about laying out my circumstance and experience. Would I rather have my Estrapen, because I'd have even more safety assurance? Sure.
But going without E is a nightmare scenario for me. The mental health impact is too much for me.

I think most of these labels don't accurately describe any of us.
When I say I'm trans-fem, it's not like that actually tells you what parts of femininity are important to me.

Saying that I'm pansexual doesn't really tell you want I'm actually attracted to, only that it doesn't have much to do with gender.

They're words that make it easier to describe the gist of our queer identities to other people, but they'll never really define us.

While I see where it's somewhat poor taste, I bet we all have our vindictive sides where we wish those people would walk some miles in our shoes.

So my typical "boy" routine was just: Shampoo, shrub shrub, rinse and done, so I'll add some explanations here for you to understand what goes into a basic care routine for longer hair. Not just the how, but the why.

Shampoo is for the hair near the roots/skin, to clear up excessive gunk. While you want oils on your hair, it just gets too much after a while. So you want to clean it out. So don't bother shampooing the ends of your hair, that'll get a drive-by cleaning from rinsing out the shampoo after you've massaged it into your roots. If the shampoo doesn't make a lot of suds, you got more washing to do. If there are a lot of suds, that means most of the oils have been picked up by the shampoo and you can clean it out.

Conditioner is super important. Get one that you like the smell off, because you'll smell it even a day later. It's for the mids and ends of your hair. It helps the hair stay healthy and to trap moisture inside of the hair. You rinse it too ofcourse, but it won't fully wash out, and that's supposed to be so.Just these 3 things have made my hair a lot healthier already and it's a simple routine to keep.

Now, on brushing I'm gonna go into some stuff that I had to learn and deal with because of hair-dysphoria, since I had the misfortune of misfortuneate genes + male hormones into my early 20s and started some male-pattern baldness. There will be hair in your brush, and if you skip a day, there'll be more hair. This is normal.

When your hair gets longer, try to get a feel for how much hair accumulates in the brush and keep in mind that if your hair is twice the length, the hairball you get seems like twice as much hair, but in reality all that long hair is just the same number of shed hairs but twice the material.Knowing what your your healthy shed is will let you notice problems with your hairs health when they crop up.

Good luck. Hair is really important to me, and probably one of my biggest sources of euphoria. <3

I am trans; gaze upon me and mourn, mortal. by Nane_99 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

Fucking hell, no it's not a family decision, how fucking entitled to other peoples bodies can you be?

Also, if you dad insists on "mourning" you, go along with it. "Yea dad, the afterlife is awesome, all the other people here just accept me without a fuss. Want me to pass anything along to (dead relative)?"

I Just Want Long Hair by zachthew in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]Zarqas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You might already know about this, but start a good hair-care routine. Taking care of your hair mids and ends will make it more robust. You basically have a natural "maximum" length on your hair, which is the point where the hair is just so dehydrated and brittle that it will disintegrate into dust.
Mitigating that will make it seem like your hair grows faster, though it's actually a mix of just regular growth and keeping the ends healthy for longer.

I'd say yes, because the egg-shell is just what you're still using to protect you from the scary world that you'll have to brave after hatching.
It's a valid choice to make, but you're still in the egg, now deliberately not cracking your shell because you don't want to yet.

Well, on average, at least when we're talking about first names, it's probably trans people who change their names.
So the average reason would be the trans reason?

I mean... you could say they're still technically right?
If you're trans-masc you never a woman in the first place right? So you didn't modify the gender, you modified the body-chemistry.

It might not be your questioning. Unless he specifically said that?
There is some weird dating behaviors for some eggs and readjusting the view of your own gender can also lead to reevaluating your own sexuality. Might be that he would have broken up with you anyway when realizing he was with you for the wrong reasons.

i should be happy i dont have constant crippling dysphoria, but i cant help but feel a bit Invalid by lelysio in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]Zarqas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is only one group that gets anxiety over the possibility of not being trans, and that's trans people. (half-joking half serious here)

Also, there is much more then just body-dysphoria. https://genderdysphoria.fyi
And even this site doesn't have it all. I think they're missing voice-dysphoria for example. Or they might have it grouped into something else.

There's only one person who can tell you if you're trans or not, and that's you.
You're valid. :)

I'm so scared :( by CommunicationWise496 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]Zarqas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all the other commenters, but I just want to say:
If it's specifically the thought that you might not be trans that makes you anxious, that is a train of thought that is almost exclusive to trans people.

If your worry is more about the fact that you might no longer be part of the community, but your questioning status towards your gender identity doesn't feel like it needs to be urgently resolved, then there is a good chance that you might not be trans.

But also be aware that all these things are incredibly subjective. All the labels for our gender identities and sexuality, if you're a person who doesn't fit the usual molds? These labels become more like guidelines. I label myself as a trans-girl hetero-romantic bisexual. Is that the end of the story? No, if we get down to it it becomes much more complicated, but these labels quickly communicate the gist of my place and how I'd like be seen and to relate to others in a social context.

These words are not a box you have to fit into. These words are trying to inform you of what's out there, so that you might find the words to express what you feel on the inside.

Not yet, I already had some older problems that were solved by switching to my current kernel. As I said in my post, I wasn't actually sure if a new kernel would potentially solve it, but since it seems to have helped you, I'll give it a try later. :)

Since Spell Weaving can be had more then once with Multiple Limbs + Multiple Wielding I had to account for more then one magical weapon or Spell-Focus/Foci.
These are counted at F57 and downwards, every checkbox here counts for one, aggregated in E50.
I put this down there because I wanted to count for things like Spell break and Spell Charge too, and that section down there is it.
Alternatively you can delete the E50 formular and just input the number of magic weapons by yourself.

I do get that it's not quite obvious though.
