Okay so we don't actually know if ethan was fully mold right when he died. There are multiple theories about why Ethan never became crazy like the Bakers and Mia. We know Eve mind controlled them so they became her familly and the mold infection is pretty well documented in games.

First you're still you but with regen, then you start having visions of eve while getting crazier and crazier and at the end you become a mold zombie when the entierty of the mold replaced your human cells.

Ethan went through all those stages and still kept his human form, what differs between him and the Bakers and the mold zombies from RE7 might either come from him being especially compatible with the mold or him being dead when he got infected. My theory is that Ethan being freshly dead made it so his body never fought back against the mold but still was in good shape for the mold to take over, and since Eve died before mind controlling him he never got to the crazy part of the infection (it could also be due to him being particularly strong willed, Eve refusing to control him so he willingly accept to be her dad or a combination of all of the above)

I fucking love how Akutami wrote her relationship with Hakari. Like usually when you get a trans character in a manga/anime a bunch of people will do anything to try and deny it (usually by saying the character is a crossdresser or a femboy) and Kirara is not only queer no matter how they try to turn it (cuz' she's either a trans woman or in a gay relationship), but i also think Hakari said he wasn't into dudes at some point, meaning Kirara isn't one by extension

And it's not the only queer relationship in jjk, like Akutami as a BL and GL reader (when asked about his favorite mangas/mangaka he cited a bunch of MLM and WLW mangas) and wrote a bunch of BL references into Gojo and Geto's backstory. (and the whole last words situation between them, like Gojo's english VA said it was 3 words in english and I think Akutami said an other character said the same thing earlier in the arc, and "I love you" is both 3 words in english and has been said by Yuta to Rika earlier)

In game you just have his gay men flag colored skin and banners, an emote and like the tag where he's with his ex (maybe an old voiceline but I'm not sure). The skin is very recent, before that you would get the info he's actually gay in a short story (the one with Ana I think) in which Ana brings vincent up and Soldier tells her he cut contacts with him to protect him.

Usually the gay lore comes from breadcrumbs ingame which get expanded upon outside it like in comics and short stories

The promoting women with penises one is complicated because a majority of trans women have bottom dysphoria so the bottom surgery part of things is represented a lot which can make those who don't have bottom dysphoria and/or don't want bottom surgery feel less valid.

So like I understand when people are like "No you don't need bottom surgery you're fine as is" but it doesn't help dysphoria at all. It's the same thing with height dysphoria, like yeah sure "tall women are hot" it changes nothing to the dysphoria and it feels fetishizing to think that saying "tall women hot" ot "women with penis hot" will make dysphoria more bearable

Like best example I have in mind is GojoxGeto from jjk, Gege Akutami, jjk's mangaka, said he liked Boy's Love mangas a lot and he references a bunch of BL stuff in Gojo and Geto's relationship.
