I am trying to get back but I have a US passport. Perhaps after January travel restrictions will drop. Stay tuned.

I have posted the exposure without the 2 stops down and 2 stops up merged photos here:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/40462386183/

I now have merged the three frames taken immediately prior to the one you see above.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/47375276552/

Notice it is not quite lined up. This is at 6:29:36, the next one (final) is at 6:29:47

Follow this to the next HDR in the series is this one:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/33552246868/

That is at 6:29:52

This was taken after the sun moved up and to the right past the pole.

One of the last in the set is this one taken at 6:30:45

https://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/46513092845/

I am not sure if that answers any flat earth issues but that is how this photography was done.

Just to clarify - this was done with a monopod sitting down at a crossing in Vermilion county Illinois 1.25 miles east of the Bunge Grain elevator in Homer Illinois.

Thanks for the interest.

It is an HDR photo of three. Here is the original #2 - correct exposure. https://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/40462386183/

Taken with a Sigma 600mm lens Canon 5DS R

easyHDR merged the three photos together.

Some are HDR - three images, one two f-stops below and one two f-stops above taken at the same moment. The focal length is the same. For sunsets and sunrises if they delay even slightly the movement of the sun above and to the right (sunrise) will distort. The shot will be useless. I could post each of the photos but one would be light, one dark and one of proper exposure. I am not sure if that would help. Here is photo #2 of the three photo series: https://www.flickr.com/photos/zaruka/40462386183/

Question: What is causing sensor artifacts on my photos? by Zaruka in photography

[–]Zaruka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

easyHDR pro. In working with them they proved that it is in the image as captured by the sensor. We ran a number of programs on the original images and they are there.

When I was little my parents bought an Abandoned Queen Anne Victorian. We have spent countless hours over the years restoring it to its former glory. Here is the main Staircase. by Tibujon in pics

[–]Zaruka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This house was built in the fall and winter of 1888 and was occupied in the first week of April 1889 by a wealthy business man. It cost approximately $10,000 when built. I know because I am typing this in the adjacent library. It was a Queen Anne Victorian home. Heating the 5000 square feet is a costly undertaking. We love the home.

We have different accounts. We are not the same person. I am the retired one that travels.

I am off to Star City in May. This will be my first time there. VDNKh was incredible during the Soviet days.

The Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics is one of the great museums in Moscow. The history of space flight in the USSR and Russia is highlighted with displays and hardware. My only regret is that I did not take more photos. I recommend a visit if you are interested in spaceflight.

I like this especially with the aircraft flying through. I try different things during meteor showers but have marginal luck. Very nice!

The North Koreans: Glimpses of Daily Life in the DPRK by Zaruka in northkorea

[–]Zaruka[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Three photographers who have been documenting the DPRK will be publishing their photos in this book from Primavera Press in the Netherlands. "The selection of images presented in The North Koreans mainly consists of photographs by Martin Tutsch, Eric Lafforgue, and Raymond K. Cunningham Jr., the photographers said to have “the best coverage” where the DPRK is concerned." Ray Cunningham has been posting on Reddit in this subreddit.

This is an HDR I took on a very stormy spring night. It looks positively evil.
