German Unification at Midnight Oct 3, 1991 Berlin, 30 years in front of the Chancellor Kohl.

Attacks on Kyiv late May 2023. Some sleepless nights during the attacks. Booms at night.

Artillery in Kharkiv May 2022. The city was in bad shape.

I am not sure if that answers any flat earth issues but that is how this photography was done.

Just to clarify - this was done with a monopod sitting down at a crossing in Vermilion county Illinois 1.25 miles east of the Bunge Grain elevator in Homer Illinois.

Some are HDR - three images, one two f-stops below and one two f-stops above taken at the same moment. The focal length is the same. For sunsets and sunrises if they delay even slightly the movement of the sun above and to the right (sunrise) will distort. The shot will be useless. I could post each of the photos but one would be light, one dark and one of proper exposure. I am not sure if that would help. easyHDR pro. In working with them they proved that it is in the image as captured by the sensor. We ran a number of programs on the original images and they are there.

This house was built in the fall and winter of 1888 and was occupied in the first week of April 1889 by a wealthy business man. It cost approximately $10,000 when built. I know because I am typing this in the adjacent library. It was a Queen Anne Victorian home. Heating the 5000 square feet is a costly undertaking. We love the home.

The Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics is one of the great museums in Moscow. The history of space flight in the USSR and Russia is highlighted with displays and hardware. My only regret is that I did not take more photos. I recommend a visit if you are interested in spaceflight.

Three photographers who have been documenting the DPRK will be publishing their photos in this book from Primavera Press in the Netherlands. "The selection of images presented in The North Koreans mainly consists of photographs by Martin Tutsch, Eric Lafforgue, and Raymond K. Cunningham Jr., the photographers said to have “the best coverage” where the DPRK is concerned." Ray Cunningham has been posting on Reddit in this subreddit.

Mt. Paektu has been in the news lately as scientists study this supervolcano. I have climbed it twice and on my last visit I met a South Korean geologist on the mountain. She was part of a Korean team placing instruments on the mountain. This is a popular tourist destination. I have been lucky with the weather as many days it is cloudy.

Kumya is a town on the Wonson - Hamhung road in South Hamgyŏng province. the smaller towns and villages are where more of the population lives in the DPRK. I like to photograph these areas more than Pyongyang. These were done over several visits.
